Combining elements of surfing, windsurfing and foiling, wingsurfing is one of the fastest-growing water sports in the world. These structured lessons guide you through each stage of progression, from controlling the wing on land to gliding across the water and eventually progressing towards wingfoiling.
Every lesson begins with a safety briefing, equipment setup and an introduction to the day's conditions. Coaching is adapted to your experience level, allowing you to progress through the different stages of wingsurfing safely and confidently.
Wing Initiation (Land Training)
Perfect for complete beginners, this stage focuses on understanding the wing and learning how to control it on land. You'll practise assembly and disassembly, wing positioning, steering techniques, safety procedures and directional control using specialist training equipment.
Wingsub Level 1
Once you're comfortable controlling the wing, you'll move onto the water using a large, stable board designed to provide plenty of buoyancy. This stage focuses on balance, body position, course control and your first transitions while gliding across the water.
Wingfoil Level 2
Designed for students ready to take the next step, this lesson introduces the fundamentals of wingfoiling. You'll work on foil balance, wing control, body positioning and maintaining a consistent course while beginning to experience the sensation of gliding above the water.
Advanced Supervision
Suitable for independent riders who want support while practising in Tarifa's conditions. You'll be supervised by an experienced instructor who can provide guidance and safety oversight while you continue developing your skills on the water. Equipment hire may be available separately if required, and this option is ideal for riders looking to gain more time on the water with professional support nearby.
