Currently, swimming is not allowed at the Lower Lliedi Reservoir, as it is an operational reservoir managed by Welsh Water, which prohibits swimming.
However, as water sports enthusiasts ourselves, we understand the appeal of open water swimming. We are actively working with Llanelli Rural Council and Welsh Water to establish the reservoir as an open water swimming venue, and this is a priority for us.
In the meantime, we ask that you respect the swimming restrictions and refrain from entering the water. This cooperation helps us maintain a positive relationship with local authorities as we work towards making open water swimming a reality at the reservoir.
Thank you for your understanding.
