Combine a guided jet ski journey along the Atlantic coastline with relaxed beach time and a short island sightseeing loop. This half-day experience balances time on the water with land-based stops, giving you variety without feeling rushed.
Expect a structured but social outing, with clear guidance throughout and time built in to swim, relax, and explore between activities.
The experience begins with a safety briefing and introduction to the jet skis before heading out onto the water with your guide. You’ll follow a planned coastal route along the Atlantic side, riding in a controlled group formation rather than free riding. The two-hour jet ski section focuses on steady cruising, cornering, and managing open water conditions rather than speed, making it suitable for confident beginners.
After the ride, you’ll stop at a beach location where you can swim, cool off, or relax on the sand. This part of the tour is intentionally unstructured, allowing you to choose how active or relaxed you want to be. Guests who prefer not to swim can remain on shore and enjoy the surroundings.
The final section moves onto land, with short stops at a local distillery and gelato spot for refreshments, followed by a hilltop viewpoint overlooking the island and coastline. These stops are brief and well-timed, adding variety without extending the day unnecessarily before returning to the starting point with your guide.
The jet ski route operates along the Atlantic-facing coastline, heading toward the French side of the island before returning to shore. Routes are selected based on sea and weather conditions to keep the ride controlled and safe.
On land, stops include a beach area, a lagoon-side venue, and a central hilltop lookout point. Cruise guests meet near the main port gates at AC Wathey Pier, while hotel and villa pickups are available from selected locations, with final details confirmed in advance.
Participants operating a jet ski must be at least 18 years old. Passengers must meet the minimum age requirement and be able to hold on securely throughout the ride. All participants should feel comfortable around open water.
Swimming is optional, but anyone entering the water does so at their own risk. Guests who are not confident swimmers are encouraged to wear a life vest at all times. This activity is not recommended for pregnant travellers or those with back or joint problems.
This experience is designed to offer variety without overcrowding the schedule, combining guided water time with clear transitions to land-based stops. Routes, timings, and group flow are based on long-standing local experience rather than fixed scripts.
The focus is on safe riding, realistic pacing, and smooth logistics, particularly for visitors with limited time on the island. Clear briefings, guided formations, and structured stops help ensure the experience runs reliably from start to finish.
No prior experience is required. A full safety briefing and operating instructions are provided before departure, covering steering, throttle control, and riding formation.
The guided format keeps speeds controlled and focuses on steady cruising rather than sharp manoeuvres, making it suitable for confident first-time riders.
Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Valid photo identification is required on the day to confirm age.
Passengers may join from a younger age, provided they meet the minimum age requirement and can hold on securely throughout the ride.
No, swimming is optional. You are welcome to stay on the beach, relax, or walk along the shoreline instead.
Guests who choose to swim should feel comfortable in open water. Life vests are recommended for non-swimmers.
Conditions vary depending on weather and wind. The Atlantic side can have moderate swell, which is why this experience is rated moderate rather than easy.
Routes and speed are adjusted on the day to prioritise safety, and tours may be modified or cancelled if conditions are unsuitable.
Riding a jet ski requires basic upper body strength and balance, particularly in choppier water.
You should be comfortable sitting astride the jet ski for extended periods and absorbing some movement through your arms and legs.
Yes, this experience works well for cruise visitors. Pickup points are close to the port, and timings are planned to allow a comfortable return.
Meeting instructions are confirmed in advance to align with ship arrival times.
A bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen are essential. Quick-drying clothing and water-safe footwear are recommended.
You may also wish to bring a small amount of cash or card for refreshments during the land-based stops.
Water is included, but food and drinks are not. Optional purchases are available during the distillery and gelato stop.
Alcohol consumption is not permitted before or during the jet ski portion of the tour.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant travellers or those with back, neck, or joint problems.
If you have concerns about physical suitability, it’s best to check before booking.
This is an outdoor, weather-dependent experience. If conditions are unsafe, the tour may be rescheduled or cancelled.
In the event of cancellation due to weather, an alternative date or refund will be offered.
