My boys had an amazing day. I think for the price maybe 4 goes would be better than 3.
Slide through the trees in a donut ring at Heaton Park, with a full hour of unlimited rides on two sweeping woodland routes. Take a ring solo or share the fun, then head back for another run among the forest.
Arrive 30 minutes early to check in and meet the team at the slide area. An instructor will help choose your donut ring, explain the seated position and make sure you are ready for your first run.
Start with the 77m route, banking through bends and gentle hops under the trees. At the bottom, bring your ring to the conveyor and return to the starting point for another go.
Switch to the 88m slide for a longer twisting descent, then alternate between the two during your hour. Return your ring at the end and enjoy the park surroundings at your own pace.
Heaton Park is a large green space north of central Manchester, with woodland and open parkland providing a welcome outdoor setting. The forest slide routes make the most of this natural backdrop.
Bus, tram and road links make the park straightforward to reach from Greater Manchester. There is room to extend the adventure into a wider family day in the park.
Participants must be at least 4, at least 1m tall and weigh from 20kg to 120kg. Shared rings must stay within the 120kg combined limit, and each participant must be able to walk independently.
Children aged 4 to 6 need one participating adult for every two children, while ages 7 to 11 need one adult for every three children. Closed, flat shoes are essential, and loose scarves or facial jewellery are not suitable.
Two distinct slides and unlimited runs let each group set its own pace, whether you are sharing rings or racing down solo. The straightforward format suits first timers while still delivering plenty of repeat fun.
Instructors make the set up clear before you start and the conveyor helps keep the session flowing. The wooded location gives this simple outdoor activity a setting that feels far from the city.

Yes, the one-hour session includes unlimited rides on both routes. You can try the 77m slide, then move to the longer 88m route and return to either one as often as you like.
The conveyor helps bring the rings back towards the starting point after each ride. Take turns considerately and follow the on-site instructions when moving between the slides.
