The day begins with a scenic walk through Rimmon Pit Clough, where the cascading waterfall at Holme Clough sets the tone for the adventure ahead. From here, you’ll ascend to the Raven Stones, where the famous Trinnacle awaits—a perfect spot for unforgettable photos.
Continuing along the ridge, panoramic views of the reservoirs below provide an inspiring backdrop as you navigate towards Charnel Clough. Here, the first scramble of the day adds an element of excitement and challenge. The journey then leads to the Wilderness Gullies, where a second scramble awaits.
The return route takes you past Chew Reservoir and Ladlow Rocks, before following the Pennine Way to Black Hill. This challenging yet rewarding day finishes where it began, leaving you with lasting memories and a sense of achievement.
