Ready to take your kitesurfing further? These private foil and surf kite lessons are designed for riders who already have a solid foundation and want to explore new disciplines with personalised coaching. Each session is tailored to your experience, helping you progress safely while developing new techniques on the water.
Choose between a dedicated foil lesson or a surf kite lesson, depending on the style of riding you'd like to develop. Both courses are taught privately, giving you one-to-one instruction throughout your session and allowing the lesson to focus entirely on your individual goals. Modern equipment is provided, including the appropriate board, kite, harness, wetsuit, helmet, and safety equipment.
Although these courses introduce a new discipline, learning still follows a progressive approach. Sessions begin by assessing your current riding ability before moving into practical coaching on the water. Your instructor will adapt the lesson to your confidence, technique, and the conditions, helping you develop efficient board control, improve kite handling, and build confidence with your chosen style of riding.
Many riders choose the recommended four-day programme as it allows skills to develop naturally across consecutive sessions. Training may begin by revisiting wind awareness, safety systems, and kite control before progressing through body dragging, board positioning, water starts, and riding upwind using your chosen board. Alex and the instructor team adjust every lesson around your progress, ensuring you're comfortable with each stage before moving on.
Lessons take place in Sant Pere Pescador, a well-known destination for kitesurfing thanks to its dependable wind conditions and wide, open beach. The meeting point is close to Carrer del Mar before heading onto the water.
The spacious coastline provides excellent room for practising advanced techniques without feeling restricted. Between sessions, you'll also find cafés and local facilities nearby if you're spending the day at the beach.
These courses are intended for riders who already have experience with a twin tip (bidirectional) board and can control the kite confidently.
Foil lessons require a solid level of riding ability and complete kite control before progressing onto a foil board. Surf kite lessons also require previous experience riding a twin tip before moving onto a directional board.
Progressing into foil or surf kite riding requires patient coaching and instruction that matches your experience. Every lesson is tailored to your current ability, allowing you to build confidence safely while learning techniques that suit your individual goals.
Led by Alex, the instructor team combines technical knowledge with a practical teaching style, helping experienced riders explore new disciplines using quality equipment and structured coaching.
These lessons are designed for kitesurfers who already have experience riding a twin tip board and are ready to progress into either foil riding or surf kiting. They are not intended as beginner lessons.
Your instructor will build on the skills you already have, allowing you to focus on learning a new discipline rather than revisiting the fundamentals of kitesurfing.
Foil lessons focus on learning to ride a hydrofoil board, allowing you to glide efficiently above the water once you've mastered the technique.
Surf kite lessons use a directional board similar to a surfboard, helping riders explore a different style of kitesurfing that offers a unique feel on the water and opens the door to riding waves.
Yes. Both courses require previous experience riding a twin tip board before progressing to these more advanced disciplines.
Foil lessons also require complete kite control, as managing the foil safely depends on having excellent control of both the kite and your body position.
Each lesson has a minimum duration of two hours, giving you plenty of practical coaching on the water.
Although you can book as many days as you like, the four-day programme is recommended because it provides enough time to build confidence gradually while refining your technique over multiple sessions.
Not necessarily. While the instructors use a structured progression, every lesson is adapted to your current ability, confidence, and learning speed.
Some riders may spend longer refining particular techniques, while others may progress more quickly depending on previous experience and the conditions during their visit.
All of the specialist equipment required for your chosen lesson is provided, including the kite, control bar, appropriate board, harness, buoyancy vest, wetsuit, and helmet.
Using quality equipment that's matched to your lesson allows you to focus on developing your technique without needing to organise or transport your own gear.
Lessons may include improving kite control, refining body position, practising efficient water starts, learning how to control your chosen board, and developing smoother riding techniques.
As your confidence increases, your instructor will continue introducing more advanced exercises that help improve overall control and efficiency on the water.
