A private ship lifts your group from Kathmandu toward the Khumbu, with a fuel stop in Lukla and a short stand at Kala Patthar. We'll brief you at the hotel at 5:00, then fly a morning of about 4.5 hours door to door. Breakfast is at Everest View Hotel in Syangboche before the return to the city.
A representative meets you at the hotel at five in the morning for the brief and safety talk. At 5:30 a car takes you to the domestic terminal, and around 6:00 the private helicopter lifts off for Lukla, about 45 minutes east, with 10 to 15 minutes on the ground for fuel.
From Lukla you'll fly about 25 minutes over Gokyo Valley, Cho La Pass, Kala Patthar, and Everest Base Camp. You'll step out for about five minutes at Kala Patthar (5,555 m) and look at Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Pumori, and the Khumbu Glacier.
Then you'll sit down to a 30-minute Himalayan breakfast at Everest View Hotel in Syangboche before the return via Lukla to Kathmandu. The same car meets you at the domestic terminal and takes you back to the hotel.
Kala Patthar is the high viewpoint at 5,555 metres, looking at Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Pumori, and the Khumbu Glacier. The charter leaves the domestic terminal in Kathmandu and flies the Khumbu: Lukla, Gokyo, Cho La, and the Everest Base Camp glacier.
Breakfast is at Everest View Hotel in Syangboche, above Namche, looking at forest and Sherpa villages. You start and finish at your Kathmandu hotel. The high stops are short; most of the morning is in the air.
You do not need flying experience. You should be happy in a helicopter for several legs and able to walk a few minutes at 5,555 metres.
Bring a passport or ID and warm clothes. Tell us about any heart or lung condition before you come. The morning needs clear mountain weather.
Charter mornings start with a representative in your hotel lobby at 5:00, then a car to the domestic desk, so you are not finding the terminal alone. Our Lazimpat team has been sending guests into the Khumbu for more than two decades, and they arrange the private aircraft, fuel stops, and the breakfast table at Syangboche before you leave the city.
English-speaking guides stay with the transfers. If cloud closes Lukla, we'll hold the aircraft and work a new morning rather than push a flight the crew will not accept.
A representative meets you at your Kathmandu hotel at 5:00 for the brief and safety talk. At 5:30 a car takes you to the domestic terminal at Tribhuvan International Airport, about 25 minutes.
Around 6:00 you'll fly about 45 minutes east to Lukla. Ground time there is 10 to 15 minutes for fuel. Then you'll fly about 25 minutes over Gokyo Valley, Cho La Pass, Kala Patthar, and Everest Base Camp, with about 5 minutes on the ground at Kala Patthar (5,555 m).
Around 7:45 you'll land at Everest View Hotel in Syangboche for a 30-minute Himalayan breakfast. Then you'll refuel in Lukla (10 to 15 minutes) and fly about 45 minutes back to Kathmandu, where a car takes you to your hotel.
A representative meets you at your Kathmandu hotel at 5:00 for the brief, then a car takes you to the domestic terminal at Tribhuvan International Airport, about 25 minutes. After the return flight we'll drive you back to the same hotel.
The morning runs from a 5:00 hotel briefing to a return to Kathmandu after breakfast at Syangboche. Flying time is split: about 45 minutes to Lukla, 25 minutes over Gokyo, Cho La, Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp, then the same line home after a Lukla refuel.
Ground time is short: 10 to 15 minutes in Lukla for fuel, about 5 minutes at Kala Patthar, and about 30 minutes at Everest View Hotel for breakfast. The whole outing is about four and a half hours.
This is a private helicopter charter for your group. Pricing is shown from the aircraft rate. We'll confirm how many seats are on the machine when you book.

Yes. A hot Himalayan breakfast at Everest View Hotel is part of the morning, with about 30 minutes on the ground.
Bring a bottle of water for the flights. Other meals are not included. You'll be back in Kathmandu in time for a late morning at the hotel.
Bring your passport or ID, warm clothes, comfortable shoes, a camera, and water. The cabin and the Kala Patthar stop are cold, even in a clear morning.
Keep luggage to a small bag. The helicopter has a tight weight limit, and most of the day is in the air or at the hotel table.
You do not need flying experience. You should be happy sitting in a helicopter for several legs, walking a few minutes at Kala Patthar (5,555 m), and following the crew brief.
Altitude at the breakfast stop and at Kala Patthar is high. Tell us about any heart or lung condition when you book. This morning depends on mountain weather.
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the activity for a full refund, in line with the Flexible policy.
Helicopters in the Khumbu leave only when visibility is safe. If cloud sits on Lukla or the high valleys, we'll work with you on a new morning.
A representative meets you at your Kathmandu hotel at 5:00 for the brief, then a car takes you to the domestic terminal at Tribhuvan International Airport.

The booking includes the private charter, hotel pickup and airport transfers, the Lukla fuel stops, the Kala Patthar overfly and short landing, and breakfast at Everest View Hotel.
Tips, extra drinks, and personal shopping are not included. Hold your passport ready for the airport desk.
This is a scenic charter, not a flying lesson. You will not receive a pilot qualification.
The crew runs a safety brief at the hotel and again before each take-off. Stay seated and belted unless they say you may step out at Kala Patthar or Syangboche.
