Get a taste of flight over water with this eFoil session in the Bay of Alcudia. Using an electric board and guided by a professional instructor, you’ll learn how to rise above the surface and glide along the sea in a controlled and exciting way.
Each session begins on land with a short but detailed briefing from your instructor. You’ll cover the basics of how the electric hydrofoil works, including how to handle the remote control, body posture, and how to maintain balance. Everything is explained in a clear and easy-to-follow way, so you feel confident before entering the water.
Once you're set up and kitted out with all necessary safety equipment, you’ll head into the calm waters of Alcudia Bay. Your instructor will stay close throughout, either in the water or in a support boat, offering guidance and feedback to help you get up and flying. Sessions are adjusted to your ability level—whether you're starting on your knees or quickly progressing to a full standing ride.
This activity takes place in Puerto de Alcudia on the north-east coast of Mallorca. The bay is known for its flat conditions, making it ideal for learning to eFoil without worrying about large waves or busy traffic on the water.
The area also benefits from wide open space and beautiful coastal views, which make the experience feel both relaxed and safe. It’s one of the best locations on the island for trying motorised water sports thanks to its reliable conditions and accessibility.
You don’t need any prior experience with surfing, kitesurfing, or similar sports to take part. The course is designed to be accessible to complete beginners as well as those who have tried other board sports before.
A moderate level of physical fitness is useful as you'll be getting up and down from the board and working to maintain balance while in motion. If you're unsure whether it's suitable for you, feel free to ask for more tailored guidance.
The team brings real experience and local knowledge to every session, with a strong focus on safe, individualised instruction. They work with top-quality eFoil gear and tailor each course to suit the participant’s needs and progression.
Sessions are fun, welcoming, and offer something different for anyone looking to get into a newer type of water activity.

You’ll have access to full on-site facilities, including changing rooms, toilets, and secure lockers for your belongings. This makes it easy to change in and out of your gear before and after your session, without needing to arrive already prepared. The facilities are kept clean and well-maintained for your comfort and convenience.
As part of the activity, all necessary safety and technical equipment is provided. This includes professional-grade nautical equipment, buoyancy vests, and insurance cover for both liability and accidents. The aim is to provide a safe, comfortable, and well-supported experience from start to finish, with everything you need available on-site.
If weather conditions on the day of your reservation prevent the activity from going ahead, there’s no need to worry. Your booking is flexible, and the team will work with you to reschedule for another available slot before the end of your holiday. This means you won’t miss out due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control.
Mallorca’s weather can change quickly, but safety is always the priority. If the forecast poses any risk or would negatively impact the quality of the session, the activity will be postponed. In most cases, an alternative day can be found, and you’ll be informed in plenty of time if there’s any need to rearrange.
The activity takes place in a designated area within the bay at Port d’Alcudia, which is known for its calm waters and scenic surroundings. There’s a clearly marked nautical channel that ensures a safe and organised area for watersports. This location allows for a safe and enjoyable experience regardless of your ability level, making it suitable for most participants.
The full address is Paseo Marítimo, 1, 07400 Port d’Alcudia, on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The port area is easy to access and well-equipped, with nearby cafes and facilities if you want to relax before or after your session. The calm conditions of the bay also make it an ideal location for first-time participants or those looking to build confidence on the water.
To get the most out of your session, it's recommended to come prepared with a few basic items. You’ll need a swimsuit, a cap or visor for sun protection, sunglasses, and sunscreen to help protect against the midday heat. A towel is also a good idea for drying off afterwards, especially if you’re planning to change at the on-site facilities.
For your feet, bring water shoes such as flip-flops, aqua booties or other non-slip footwear. This will help you move comfortably around the shore and equipment area, especially if surfaces are wet or uneven. Staying hydrated is also important, so bringing a water bottle is advisable, particularly on hotter days.
Absolutely. This session is designed specifically for beginners, and no prior experience with eFoiling, surfing, or other board sports is required. The instructor takes time to explain everything clearly on land before you get in the water. You’ll learn how to control the board, position your body, and understand how the foil lifts the board as you pick up speed.
On the water, your instructor remains close by at all times, offering support and guidance. Most people start on their knees to get a feel for the balance before progressing to standing. You're encouraged to go at your own pace and there's no pressure to ‘get it right’ straight away. The whole session is built around your comfort and progression.
Learning to eFoil can be challenging at first, but it’s very achievable with a bit of persistence and instruction. The first few minutes will be about understanding how the board reacts to your weight and movement. Most people spend some time kneeling or lying on the board to get familiar with the throttle and balance before standing up.
As you gain confidence, your instructor will guide you on how to adjust your stance and shift your weight to lift the board. Some people manage to stand and fly within the first session, while others may take a bit longer. Either way, the progression is part of the fun and each stage brings a real sense of achievement.
