If you love hitting the trails and want to experience Exmoor in a new way, this guided e-bike tour is perfect for you. Designed for experienced riders, this ride is packed with exciting trails, technical sections, and beautiful scenery. Our full-suspension and hardtail e-bikes take the effort out of climbing, so you can focus on enjoying the ride. With a mix of fast-flowing sections, rocky paths, and forest tracks, this tour offers a real adventure for those who know their way around an off-road trail.
Before setting off, all riders will fill out a short ride questionnaire and waiver at our HQ. We’ll provide helmets, gloves, and glasses, though you’re welcome to bring your own helmet if it meets safety standards. As this tour is for experienced riders only, you’ll need to be comfortable riding a bike with gears and handling off-road terrain.
The ride takes you deep into Exmoor’s best trails, where you’ll tackle a variety of terrains. Expect twisting woodland paths, open moorland tracks, and rocky climbs that test your skills without being too extreme. There are no sheer drop-offs or huge jumps—just a great mix of technical riding and fun, flowing sections. With the help of your e-bike, you’ll power up hills with ease, leaving you with more energy to enjoy the ride.
Along the way, keep an eye out for Exmoor’s famous wildlife. You might spot red deer watching from the trees, Exmoor ponies grazing in the distance, or the iconic ruby red cattle roaming the hills. Your guide knows the area inside out and will choose a route that best suits the group, ensuring you get the most out of your time on the trails.
The adventure begins at New Barn Farm in Shirwell, where you’ll meet your guide and get set up on your bike. From there, you’ll head straight into Exmoor’s amazing landscape, riding through forests, rolling hills, and open moorland.
The trails in this area offer a fantastic mix of challenging sections and scenic riding, making it an ideal location for experienced cyclists looking for an exciting day out.
All participants must be confident riding with gears and handling off-road terrain. Since we cannot mix ability levels, this tour is only suitable for those with previous trail-riding experience.
Riders under 14 may be accepted on certain routes if they meet the minimum height requirement of 5ft 1in.
