Head out by boat from Muscat to look for wild dolphins and snorkel in clear coastal waters. This short, well-paced trip combines wildlife spotting with relaxed snorkelling, supported by local crew and shared hotel transfers.
After hotel pick-up, you’ll be transferred to the marina and board a small group boat with an experienced crew. The first part of the trip focuses on dolphin watching, cruising offshore into the Gulf of Oman where dolphin sightings are common. The crew actively scans the water and adjusts the route to increase the chance of encounters.
Once dolphins are spotted and observed at a respectful distance, the boat moves to a nearby snorkelling area. Snorkelling equipment is provided, and time is allowed to explore coral and fish close to shore. The pace is relaxed, with no pressure to stay in the water for a fixed time.
Water and soft drinks are available onboard throughout. After snorkelling, the boat returns to the marina, followed by shared transfer back to your hotel.
The trip departs from Muscat and operates along the nearby coastline. Snorkelling locations commonly include sheltered bays such as Bandar Khayran, chosen on the day based on sea conditions. Some tours may operate towards the Daymaniyat Islands when conditions allow.
Exact locations vary to prioritise safety, visibility, and wildlife presence.
No prior snorkelling experience is required. Participants should be comfortable in the water and able to use a mask and fins with basic instruction.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This is a group tour with shared transfers, and hotel location must be selected correctly at booking to ensure pick-up.
This trip balances wildlife observation with light activity, making it suitable for travellers who want time on the water without a full-day commitment. Shared transfers, equipment, and refreshments are included, keeping the experience straightforward.
