Technical diving transcends traditional scuba diving boundaries, allowing divers to explore deeper and more complex environments. It involves the use of specialised equipment, rigorous planning, and a precise execution of advanced diving techniques. It opens a new dimension of underwater exploration, including cave systems, deep wrecks, and more. But it requires specific skills and experience.
Our Discover Tec is a friendly introduction to the intriguing world of technical diving. Conducted in a controlled, confined water setting, it's a perfect way to familiarise yourself with the specialszed tec diving gear and have a feel of what technical diving really entails.
Here's what you'll get to do:
If you're a PADI Open Water Diver, at least 18 years old, and have a minimum of 10 logged dives, you qualify for Discover Tec.
In order to dive, you must fill the Diver Medical Form. You may require a physicians approval to dive. If you have any questions then please let us know!
You will also have to sign our Diver Liability Release Form and Safe Diving Practices form.
Our classroom sessions will be in our location Stirling Enterprise Park and any open water dives will be at various sites either in the Firth of Forth or the Firth of Clyde

No, Discover Tec is an experience and introduction to technical diving, not a certification course.
Absolutely! If you enjoy your Discover Tec experience, you may choose to enroll in full technical diving courses to further your skills and certifications. We can help you choose the right one for you.
Safety is paramount. The course is conducted in confined water under the guidance of an experienced PADI Tec Instructor. All procedures align with PADI's safety standards.
