Upon arrival, you'll be kitted out with all necessary gear and briefed on safety. The adventure begins as you navigate the coastline, scaling rock faces, swimming through sea channels, and leaping from various heights into the water.

Located just outside Torquay, the session takes place in the scenic Maidencombe area, known for its unique geological formations and coastal beauty.
The meeting point is at the Thatched Tavern Pub, with parking available nearby. The location offers both easy and challenging routes, accommodating all abilities.
Participants must be comfortable in the water and in good health, as the activity involves swimming, climbing, and some physical exertion. While no prior coasteering experience is necessary, a basic level of fitness is recommended to enjoy the session fully.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will need to remain with them throughout the activity. It’s also essential to bring along swimwear, a towel, and appropriate footwear, like old trainers or water shoes, to ensure safety and comfort during the adventure.

We're located on the A379 between Torquay and Shaldon. Turn down Steep Hill or Brim Hill. Free parking is available on the road, and there's a paid car park near the beach. We meet outside the pub.

The number 22 bus from Torquay or Dawlish will get you here.
By Train
Trains are available to Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, or Torquay. From there, you can take a taxi or a bus to reach us.

Coasteering is an adventure activity that involves exploring the intertidal zone of a rocky coastline through a combination of swimming, climbing, jumping, and caving.
It's suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, from adventurous children aged 6+ to adults. No prior experience is necessary, but a reasonable level of fitness is recommended to fully enjoy the experience.
You’ll need to bring swimwear to wear under the wetsuit, a towel for after the session, and long socks to protect your ankles.
It’s also advisable to bring old trainers or water shoes for the rocky terrain. If you don’t have suitable footwear, you can borrow some from us.
Ensure you bring some change for parking as it is pay and display.
Each coasteering session lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours. This includes time for safety briefings, getting into the kit, and the adventure itself.
We recommend arriving a little early to find parking and get settled.
