Step into a fascinating underground world just outside Palma and experience caving at its best. This guided session takes you deep into Marble Cave, where you’ll move through passages, climb, and descend while taking in extraordinary natural formations. It’s a safe yet exciting way to see the island from a whole new perspective.
Your adventure begins with a short introduction from your guide, followed by a safety briefing and fitting of equipment. Once ready, you’ll set off to the cave entrance and step into an environment shaped over millions of years. The initial sections are straightforward, giving you time to get used to the underground setting and practise moving through narrower spaces.
As the route continues, you’ll encounter small climbs, short descents, and tighter passages that add to the excitement. The cave does not require ropes or vertical progression equipment, making it accessible while still challenging enough to give you a real taste of speleology. The highlight of the trip comes when you reach the final chamber, home to impressive Jurassic-era formations. Here, there’s a chance to pause, take in the scale of the underground world, and enjoy a well-earned break before beginning the return journey.
Throughout the session, your guide will share insights into how the cave was formed, explain different features you pass, and help you navigate obstacles. You’ll finish the experience with a strong sense of achievement and plenty of stories to share.
