Sail along the Djerba coast on a spacious catamaran with crystal-clear water, a swim stop, and hotel transfer included. Choose a morning, midday, or sunset departure for a relaxed few hours at sea without organising your own transport to the marina.
Your trip starts with collection from your hotel and a short transfer to the catamaran. The crew welcomes you on deck, outlines basic safety points, and sets sail along the coast while you take in open sea views away from crowded beaches.
When conditions allow, the boat anchors for a swim stop in clear water before the return sail. You can stay on board if you prefer not to swim. The outing ends with drop-off back at your hotel, so the full three hours covers transfer, sailing, and time in the water.
Djerba sits off Tunisia's southern coast with calm seasonal seas that suit half-day catamaran outings. Departures use the island's marina area with routes along the shoreline and open water beyond the busiest beach strips.
Morning and midday slots suit families who want bright light and warm water for swimming. Sunset departures add golden-hour views on the return leg when the calendar offers that slot.
No sailing skills are required. You should be comfortable sitting on a moving deck and, if you plan to swim, confident enough for a short dip in open water with crew nearby.
Anyone under 18 needs adult supervision throughout. Share mobility or health concerns before you book if they affect balance on deck or entry to the water.
Hotel transfer removes the hassle of taxis and marina directions on holiday. The three-hour format fits easily between other plans while still giving real time under sail and a swim stop.
Groups are capped at fifteen so the deck stays comfortable and the crew can help during boarding and the swim break. Families, couples, and solo travellers all get the same relaxed pace rather than a rushed photo stop.
Wait in your hotel lobby at the agreed pickup time. The operator confirms the exact slot after you book.
Transport to the marina is included from standard Djerba hotels. If you are staying outside the pickup zone, contact the operator before you book to confirm collection options.
The cruise runs for three hours from pickup to return, including sailing time, a swim stop, and the hotel transfer at each end. Morning, midday, and sunset departures are available on the live calendar.
Exact start times depend on the slot you book. Arrive at your hotel lobby ready a few minutes before the agreed pickup so the driver can keep the boat on schedule.
No sailing experience is needed. The crew handles navigation and mooring while you relax on deck. The pace is easy and suited to families and first-time boat guests.
If you want to swim, you should be comfortable in open water with a basic level of confidence. Non-swimmers can stay on board during the swim stop if they prefer.
The minimum age is three years. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the trip, including during the swim stop if they enter the water.
Share ages when you book so the crew can plan seating and safety briefings. Life jackets are available on board for those who need them.
Hotel pickup and return transfer are included from accommodation in Djerba. The operator confirms your exact pickup time after you book.
You do not need to find the marina yourself if you are within the standard hotel pickup zone. Share your hotel name and room contact details when you reserve.
Your booking covers the three-hour catamaran cruise, crew service on board, a swim stop when conditions allow, and hotel transfer at the start and end of the trip.
Food, drinks, snorkel hire, and personal travel insurance are not included unless stated on your confirmation. Bring your own water and sun protection for time on deck.
Groups run up to fifteen guests on this departure. Solo travellers and families are welcome. The cap keeps the deck comfortable and gives the crew space to help during the swim stop.
Larger parties may need a private charter or a split across two departures. Message after booking if you are travelling with a big group so the operator can advise.
Wear swimwear under comfortable clothes, plus sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Bring a towel and a dry layer for the breeze after swimming.
Non-slip shoes or sandals with a heel strap work well on deck. Leave heavy jewellery or items that cannot get wet if you plan to swim.
Light wind and moderate swell are normal and the trip often still runs. Strong winds, storms, or unsafe sea conditions may lead to a reschedule or an adjusted route without a swim stop.
The crew makes the final call on the day for safety. You will be contacted if your departure needs to move. Do not assume a cloudy sky means cancellation.
Yes. The minimum age is three and families are a common fit for this cruise. Children must stay under adult supervision on deck and in the water.
Share the ages in your party when you book. The crew can help with seating and briefings so everyone knows where to sit during sailing and at the swim stop.
When sea conditions allow, the crew anchors in clear water for a refreshing swim away from crowded beaches. You can stay on deck if you prefer not to enter the water.
Snorkelling is not always included as equipment hire. Bring your own mask and snorkel if you want to look below the surface during the stop.
