Ben Nevis, standing at 1,345 metres, is the highest peak in the UK and reaching its summit is a rewarding achievement. Join us as we experience this peak at sunrise on the Summer Solstice, walking through darkness to reach the summit. You'll be led by a qualified Mountain Leader to experience this iconic mountain, learn about its unique landscape, geology, and the history surrounding it. You’ll also receive a collection of photos from your day to share and remember your adventure.
Your day will begin with a thorough briefing covering the route, safety measures, and what to expect from the weather conditions. You’ll be given advice on the appropriate kit to bring, including clothing, footwear, and essentials for mountain walking. The guide will ensure the pace suits everyone, whether you are new to hill walking or more experienced.
The ascent will take you through a variety of terrain, from well-maintained paths to rougher, rocky sections. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the mountain’s geological features, its natural environment, and the history of Ben Nevis. On reaching the summit, you’ll have time to enjoy the views and capture photos before descending safely back to the base. Throughout the day, safety is the priority, and the guide will adapt plans to suit weather and group ability.
