Prepare for a fast-paced indoor shooting session that focuses on accuracy, handling, and safe range etiquette. Clear instruction and a steady progression mean newcomers settle in quickly while more confident shooters get the chance to push their skills. Optional add-ons such as the Pray and Spray machine-gun experience and a Polaroid keepsake give groups ways to customise the hour.
On arrival you’ll sign in, complete the risk form, and be fitted with the provided safety eyewear. A focused safety briefing explains range boundaries, safe muzzle discipline, how to load and clear magazines, and what to do if a BB rebounds. The first shooting phase is about settling into the gear with short practice strings at close range so everyone can get used to trigger control and sighting.
After basic drills you’ll move into structured target rounds that test shot grouping, speed, and consistency under controlled conditions. The instructor times turns and gives personalised tips on stance, grip, and breathing to improve accuracy. Optional extras are brought in towards the end; Pray and Spray provides a high-adrenaline finishing slot for those who want it, while Polaroid photos offer a slower, more relaxed way to capture the visit once the firing has finished.
Situated on a family-run farm near Aston Tirrold, the indoor range is easy to reach from surrounding Oxfordshire and Berkshire towns. The location offers discreet parking directly outside the range building so groups can arrive together, unload equipment, and head straight to the signing area.
Signposting and clear on-site directions prevent confusion from sat-nav quirks; follow instructions to park in front of the red brick building rather than nearby residential spots. The indoor setup means sessions run regardless of weather, and the layout includes a clear viewing area for those booked to watch.
Please ensure you wear closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and remove jewellery that could catch while moving. Everyone must use the supplied safety eyewear for the full duration of the session; no personal eyewear should be relied on instead of the provided protection.
Under 18s need an adult booked on the same session to supervise. Alcohol is not permitted on site and anyone showing signs of being under the influence may be refused or removed from the session to keep the group safe.
Staff deliver instruction with a focus on practical safety coaching and straightforward tips that help shooters improve quickly. Coaching balances clear explanation with hands-on feedback so newcomers build competence fast while returning shooters can refine technique and speed.
Groups like the relaxed but organised atmosphere, where extras and custom options are easy to add and the team aim to tailor the hour to what the group wants. Equipment is well maintained and instructors manage the pace so the session stays fun, safe, and engaging from warm-up to the final round.
