Experience an energetic indoor game that blends archery with dodgeball, using foam-tipped arrows and safety helmets. Players move, dodge, and aim in fast-paced team matches, testing strategy, accuracy, and reflexes. Optional duels, creative challenges, and Polaroid keepsakes allow your group to personalise the session.
After signing in and completing risk forms, players are fitted with helmets and arm guards and receive a full safety briefing. Instructors explain how to handle the bows, use the foam-tipped arrows safely, and move tactically across the arena. Early practice allows everyone to get comfortable drawing, aiming, and shooting before joining full gameplay.
The main session involves team-based combat, where players attempt to hit opponents to eliminate them while avoiding being struck themselves. Fast-paced rounds encourage running, dodging, and strategic positioning. Beyond standard team games, the instructor can guide players through duels, challenges, and optional activities like apple-shooting drills for those feeling confident.
The session finishes with a cool-down and feedback, offering tips on technique and strategy. Optional Polaroid photos can be taken to capture the action, giving each participant a tangible memory of their experience.
The indoor arena is located on a family-run farm near Aston Tirrold, at the edge of the Chilterns. The space is designed for fast-paced team games, with protective barriers, marked lanes, and safe zones that allow for running, dodging, and shooting.
Parking is available directly outside the building, and signage ensures you arrive at the correct entrance rather than nearby residential areas. The indoor setup guarantees reliable sessions regardless of weather, making it ideal for parties, corporate groups, or friends seeking a high-energy activity.
Participants should wear closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and remove loose jewellery. All players must wear the provided helmets and arm guards. Because Archery Tag is high-impact, minor bruises or scrapes are possible, particularly when running or blocking arrows.
Under 18s require an adult booked on to supervise. Mixed-age groups, especially combining children and adults, are not recommended due to differences in draw strength affecting safety and enjoyment.
Instructors deliver guidance that balances safety with high-energy gameplay, helping teams coordinate strategies, improve aim, and enjoy friendly competition. They monitor the arena to maintain fair play while keeping sessions exciting and inclusive for all skill levels.
Groups enjoy flexibility with game formats and creative challenges that go beyond standard archery, such as duels or apple-shooting drills. Optional extras like Polaroid photos allow participants to take home memories, while the supportive, experienced team ensures the session is engaging, safe, and memorable.
