A mix of structured sessions and flexible training options is available for all experience levels. With both covered and outdoor-style ranges, this setup gives you space to build confidence and improve accuracy at your own pace.
Your session begins with a safety briefing covering how the range operates and how to handle the rifles and pistols correctly. Once this is complete, you’ll move into practical shooting with close supervision from an experienced instructor, who will guide you through each stage at a steady pace.
Introduction sessions focus on developing the ability to use the range independently. Over 90 minutes, you’ll work through setup, safe handling, aiming techniques, and structured shooting practice, with feedback provided throughout to help improve accuracy and control.
Taster sessions provide a longer format that lets you experience shooting in a more varied way. These typically cover multiple styles or a condensed overview, giving you the chance to try different approaches while still receiving clear instruction and support.
The range is based in the Leicestershire countryside, offering a dedicated setting designed specifically for air rifle and air pistol shooting. The site includes both a 100m covered firing point and a 65m woodland-style range, providing varied conditions for practice.
It is easily accessible from Leicester and surrounding areas, making it suitable for both local visitors and those travelling in from further afield. The setting is purpose-built for target sports, giving a focused environment away from general public activity.
No prior experience is required, and all sessions are structured to support beginners as well as more experienced shooters. Full instruction is provided before any shooting begins.
For participants under 18 taking an introduction session independently, an adult must remain on site throughout the session for supervision. This is required for future unsupervised range use following completion of training.
The facility is designed specifically for target sports, offering a controlled environment where different shooting styles can be practised safely. Covered and woodland-style ranges provide variety while maintaining clear structure and supervision.
A broad range of shooting options is available in one place, allowing participants to progress from first-time sessions through to independent range use. The focus is on clear instruction, safety, and steady skill development.
