You've learned how to handle a wing. You've developed confidence riding a hydrofoil. Now it's time to bring both skills together. This advanced wingfoil course is designed for riders who are ready to make the transition into true wingfoil riding and begin experiencing the unique sensation of gliding above the water under their own power.
This course is aimed specifically at riders who have already completed the earlier stages of the wingfoil learning process. Rather than revisiting beginner exercises, training focuses on integrating your existing wing handling and hydrofoil skills into a single, coordinated riding technique. Your instructor will begin by assessing your current ability level and identifying any adjustments that may help accelerate your progression.
Once on the water, you'll work on developing the timing and coordination needed to generate lift while managing both the wing and foil simultaneously. For many riders, this is the stage where everything starts coming together. Small changes in wing positioning, body posture and weight distribution can have a major impact on performance, and your instructor will provide detailed feedback throughout the session to help refine these movements.
As confidence increases, the focus shifts towards longer flights, smoother control and greater efficiency. Radio communication allows instructors to provide immediate guidance while you're riding, helping you make corrections in real time rather than waiting until the end of each attempt. Whether your goal is achieving your first sustained flight or improving consistency, this lesson is designed to help you become a more capable and confident wingfoil rider.
Pollensa Bay has become one of Mallorca's most popular locations for wingfoiling thanks to its combination of suitable wind conditions and spacious riding areas. The bay provides an excellent environment for intermediate and advanced riders looking to develop their skills away from crowded waters.
Students also benefit from access to premium facilities including hot showers, changing rooms, exclusive student areas, a swimming pool and a sea-facing bar and restaurant. The surrounding coastline offers plenty of places to relax and enjoy the area after your session.
This is not a beginner course. Participants should already be comfortable handling a wing on a SUP board and have previous hydrofoil riding experience before joining this lesson.
Students should bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel and drinks. A willingness to practise, experiment and refine technique is important, as wingfoiling often involves gradual improvements that build towards long-term success.
Wingfoiling combines multiple skills, and the transition from separate wing and hydrofoil training to full wingfoil riding can be one of the most challenging stages of progression. Focused coaching helps identify technical issues quickly and provides clear guidance on how to overcome them.
Lessons are delivered by qualified instructors using quality equipment and supported by radio communication and boat assistance when required. Combined with excellent facilities and favourable learning conditions, riders receive the support needed to progress efficiently and safely.
This lesson is intended for riders who already have experience with both Wing SUP and hydrofoil riding. It focuses on combining those existing skills into full wingfoil navigation.
If you are still learning basic wing handling or have never ridden a hydrofoil before, one of the earlier progression courses will usually provide a better starting point.
Unlike beginner programmes, this lesson assumes you already understand the fundamentals of both wing control and hydrofoil balance.
The coaching focuses on technique refinement, timing, coordination and developing efficient riding skills rather than introducing basic concepts for the first time.
That is the goal of the session. The course is specifically designed to help riders achieve and maintain controlled hydrofoil flight while using a wing.
Progress varies from rider to rider, but the instruction is focused on helping you reach this stage as efficiently as possible.
Every student progresses differently depending on previous experience, confidence levels and time spent practising.
Riders who already have solid Wing SUP and hydrofoil skills often progress significantly faster than complete beginners because they are combining abilities they have already developed separately.
Radio coaching allows instructors to provide immediate feedback while you are actively riding on the water.
This can make a significant difference during advanced lessons because small technical adjustments can often be corrected instantly, leading to faster progression.
The lesson includes a wing, foil SUP board, helmet, wetsuit and all other necessary equipment for the session.
Equipment is selected according to your experience level and the conditions on the day to help maximise learning opportunities.
