Ready to move beyond the basics, this advanced certification course helps qualified divers gain valuable experience while developing new underwater skills. Through a series of adventure dives, you'll improve your confidence, increase your depth limits, and discover different styles of diving under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
Unlike entry-level certification courses, this programme focuses on gaining practical experience through a selection of adventure dives. The course includes a mandatory deep dive and underwater navigation dive, providing the foundation for more advanced recreational diving. These dives allow participants to develop greater awareness, improve underwater navigation skills, and become more comfortable operating at increased depths.
Additional adventure dives are selected from a range of speciality options depending on availability and interests. Examples may include Nitrox diving, search and recovery techniques, dry suit diving, or the use of underwater propulsion devices. Each dive introduces new techniques and challenges while expanding your overall diving experience.
Throughout the course, your instructor will provide guidance and feedback to help refine existing skills and improve confidence underwater. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an internationally recognised certification that allows you to dive to depths of up to 30 metres and opens the door to further training, including the Rescue Diver course.
Located on Mallorca's southwest coastline, Santa Ponça offers access to a variety of dive sites suitable for advanced training. The area's combination of reefs, drop-offs, and deeper dive locations creates ideal conditions for developing new skills while exploring a diverse underwater environment.
Away from the dive sites, visitors can enjoy the marina, local beaches, waterfront restaurants, and coastal scenery that make this part of Mallorca popular with divers and holidaymakers alike. The convenient location also provides easy access from many of the island's main resort areas.
Participants must hold an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent qualification from a recognised diving organisation and be at least 10 years old.
Divers should feel comfortable in the water and be ready to build upon their existing skills. Previous speciality experience is not required, as all training is delivered as part of the course.
Building experience after initial certification is one of the most important stages in becoming a confident diver. The course is structured to provide plenty of time in the water while allowing participants to explore different aspects of diving that match their interests and future goals.
Years of teaching experience, flexible scheduling, quality equipment, and access to varied dive sites ensure a well-rounded learning environment. The result is a course that develops practical ability while making every dive enjoyable and rewarding.
The Open Water certification focuses on learning the foundations of scuba diving, while the Advanced Open Water course is designed to build experience and develop new skills.
Participants complete a variety of adventure dives that introduce different diving environments, techniques, and challenges while increasing confidence and independence underwater.
