Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Avoid loose or baggy trousers as they can get caught in the bike chain.
Layers are ideal, especially if the weather is unpredictable. A waterproof jacket is recommended if rain is expected. Comfortable shoes with a good grip are best for pedalling.
Helmets are provided with every bike rental at no additional cost. For your safety, wearing a helmet is mandatory throughout your hire period.
If you have a personal helmet that you prefer to use, you are welcome to bring it, but please ensure it meets safety standards.
Children can enjoy the ride using our child bikes, trailers, and tag-alongs. However, for children aged 15-18 to hire a bike, an adult must accompany them to sign the necessary consent forms.
The adult will also need to ensure the group is aware of the terms of hire.

The Strawberry Line is well-signposted and easy to follow, so you don’t need to be familiar with the route.
However, if you prefer, we can provide a detailed map of the area. The route is mostly flat and suitable for all levels, making it a relaxing ride.
While not compulsory, we recommend wearing a high-visibility vest for added safety, particularly for group rides or during low-light conditions. We provide these for free on request.
