This combo experience is split into two parts. You will start in a Land Rover Discovery TD5 with a BORDA trained instructor alongside you, tackling the site's woodland trails, mud, water, steep inclines and descents and gravity defying side slopes, with guidance and advice at every stage.
The second half switches things up completely: a blindfolded driving challenge around a circuit, with your co-driver acting as navigator and talking you through every turn using verbal instructions only. It is a fun, fast paced test of trust and communication that works brilliantly for two friends, a couple or two colleagues sharing the car.
Based near the village of Farnsfield in Nottinghamshire, the experience takes place on a purpose-built 40-acre site just off the A617 towards Newark. The course includes woodland trails, moderate gradients, loose surfaces and mixed terrain typical of British off-road conditions, giving you a realistic and safe environment for both halves of the combo.
You'll find the site entrance around 200 yards from the A614 roundabout, on the left side of the road. The postcode NG22 8BP gets you close, but be aware that sat navs may mislead slightly, so follow signage once nearby for best results.
All participants must be at least 18 years old. No driving licence or previous off-road experience is required, so this is suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone looking for a fun challenge with a friend. Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for outdoor conditions.
This combo brings together two of the site's most popular experiences in a single session: a genuine 4x4 driving experience with hands on coaching from a BORDA trained instructor, followed by the blindfold challenge that turns the drive into a shared, memorable test of trust between the two of you.
Because no licence or prior experience is needed, it is an easy way for two people, friends, a couple or colleagues, to try off road driving together and come away with a story to tell, rather than just a solo lesson.
Yes, there is free parking available at the meeting point on Kirklington Road, near Farnsfield. We're located just off the A617 heading towards Newark, 200 yards from the A614 roundabout. Once you're nearby, look out for signage and our team.
Please note that sat navs don't always take you to the exact entrance, so it's a good idea to double-check the directions beforehand. We suggest allowing a bit of extra time to ensure you arrive on schedule and don't miss any of your session time.
This combo covers both halves of the experience for two people sharing one car: a guided off-road drive with a BORDA-trained instructor, followed by the blindfolded driving challenge with your co-driver acting as navigator.
Between you, you'll get approximately 30 minutes of driving time each, split across the two parts of the session.
No previous off-road driving experience is needed, and no driving licence is required either, since all driving takes place on private land under instructor guidance.
This makes it accessible for complete beginners as well as anyone who simply wants a fun, low-pressure introduction to off-road driving with a friend.

Jez was a good “host”, helping us along the way. We hadn’t fully read the description of the activity and it turned out to be more physical then expected; however, it didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves - even the assault course was conquered by all.
