Embark on a moderate 6.2-mile journey starting at 9.30 in Ambleside. Ascending swiftly to Lily Tarn, relish stunning vistas of Windermere's northern end, Fairfield Horseshoe, and the Coniston Fells. The summit of Loughrigg offers exquisite views of Grasmere and Rydal Water. The return journey winds through Red Bank, the charming Loughrigg Terrace, and the swift-flowing River Rothay. Experience the allure of mountain paths and bridleways among breathtaking mountain scenery and lake views.
Start at 9.30 from Ambleside for a 6.4-mile walk with a 500m ascent. Summit Wansfell Pike for panoramic views. Descend to Troutbeck for a break. Return via Wansfell's quieter side with old lanes and Jenkins Hill. Explore summit rocks, woodland paths, and serene roads.
Embark on a moderate 4-mile journey starting at 9.30 from Grasmere. Ascend Helm Crag, known as the “Lion and the Lamb,” with its distinctive summit rocks resembling these iconic figures. Explore the rocky summit, continuing along the ridge for enchanting views before descending gently through Bracken Hause. Revel in the sights of mountain landscapes, serene lakes, cascading waterfalls, and picturesque valleys.
Begin at 9.30 in Grasmere for a picturesque 4.6-mile walk. Discover the surprisingly large Easedale Tarn and waterfalls. Traverse the riverside, reach the tarn, and descend through Far Easedale Gill. Experience unforgettable mountain views, tarns, rivers, and cascading waterfalls.

No specific prior experience is needed. Participants should have suitable walking boots and clothing for rough terrain, and be prepared for moderate physical activity.
Your guide will be Lathan, a passionate mountaineer and landscape photographer of 35+ years. Initially capturing photos of the landscapes was a way to share trips, but it evolved into an artistic pursuit. With growing interest, Lathan began offering top-tier landscape photography courses, workshops, guided walks, and off-the-beaten-track photography adventures in response to inquiries about his stunning mountain captures and techniques.
