Ideal for adventure seekers with some prior trekking experience, this journey promises gorgeous landscapes and unforgettable moments.
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil (1740m) – Isk Summit (2700m) – Aroumd Village (2000m)(Acclimatization day)
We will pick you up from Marrakech and drive towards the High Atlas Mountains, passing several traditional Berber towns along the way, until we reach the village of Imlil (1740m), the starting point of the trek.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy a welcome cup of Moroccan mint tea in a local restaurant. Before starting the hike, your guide will explain the itinerary and route using a map.
After the briefing, begin your trek through beautiful Berber villages and terraced fields. The trail gradually climbs to the summit of Isk (2700m), where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
From there, descend to a peaceful spot near a shepherd’s goat shelter where you will stop for lunch. After lunch, continue hiking down to the Berber village of Aroumd (2000m).
Overnight stay in a traditional guesthouse with dinner included. This day also serves as an acclimatization day to prepare for the higher altitude.
Day 2: Aroumd – Sidi Chamharouch (2700m) – Toubkal Refuge (3200m)
After breakfast, we start our ascent towards the Toubkal Refuge. The trail follows the valley through walnut groves and terraced farmland where local farmers grow apples and walnuts.
We continue climbing up the valley until we reach the famous pilgrimage site of Sidi Chamharouch (2700m), where we stop for lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue the hike towards the Toubkal Refuge (3200m). Upon arrival, you can relax, enjoy a cup of tea, and take in the mountain atmosphere.
Dinner and overnight stay at the refuge.
Day 3: Toubkal Refuge – Mount Toubkal Summit (4167m) – Imlil – Marrakech
We start very early in the morning to climb Mount Toubkal (4167m), the highest peak in North Africa. Reaching the summit rewards you with spectacular panoramic views over the High Atlas Mountains, the Anti-Atlas, the Sahara Desert, and surrounding valleys.
After enjoying the summit and taking photos, we descend back to the refuge for lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, we continue descending through the Toubkal Valley back to Imlil, where transportation will be waiting to transfer you back to Marrakech.

Absolutely fantastic hike organised by Omar (even more impressive considering that we booked 2 days before the hike started).
