A short hop by air from Kathmandu opens this three-day Annapurna trip, with flights both ways included. We'll collect you at 10:00, walk about two hours from Phedi to a Dhampus lodge, then sleep at a Sarangkot hotel after the ridge walk to sunrise and the flight home. The minimum age is 13.
We'll collect you at 10:00 from your Kathmandu hotel and drive you to the domestic terminal for the half-hour flight to Pokhara. In Pokhara your guide meets you and you drive to Phedi, with lunch on the way. From Phedi you'll hike about two hours through villages, terraces, and a short stretch of woods to Dhampus.
Dinner is at the lodge, and you sleep there. The next day you'll walk from Dhampus to Sarangkot, the hill above Phewa Lake. From the ridge you can see Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, and Annapurna II when the sky is clear. Lunch is on the way, and you'll stay for sunset.
Dinner and the second night are at a hotel on Sarangkot. You'll wake for sunrise over the snow line, have breakfast, and fly about half an hour back to Kathmandu, where we'll drive you to your hotel. Lunch and dinner are included on day one, all three meals on day two, and breakfast on day three. Hold on to your passport for the domestic flights.
Dhampus sits on a wooded ridge above the Pokhara valley, with farm terraces and a clear view of the Annapurna wall when the sky is open. The walk in from Phedi is a village path, not a high pass, and the lodge night is in the Gurung village itself.
Sarangkot looks down on Phewa Lake and is the usual place to watch sunrise and sunset on Machhapuchhare and the Annapurna range. Both nights are on this side of Pokhara, with the city of lakes a short drive below the ridge.
You do not need previous trekking experience. You should be happy walking for about two hours on day one and a shorter ridge walk on day two, and sleeping two nights in simple hill lodges.
The minimum age is 13. Bring a passport for the domestic flights, sturdy shoes, and a warm layer for the evenings on the ridge. Flight times can move with mountain weather; your guide will keep you on the revised plan if a departure shifts.
One guide from Lazimpat stays with you from the Kathmandu hotel through both airports and the nights away. Domestic tickets, permits, and lodge beds are booked by that office before you leave, so you are not buying seats at the domestic desk.
English-speaking staff have been running hill trips from Lazimpat for more than two decades. Pickup is from your Kathmandu hotel at 10:00, with a private vehicle on the road sections so you are not hunting for a taxi between flights.

We'll collect you from your hotel in Kathmandu at 10:00 and drive you to Kathmandu Domestic Terminal for the flight to Pokhara. On day three we'll meet you at the same terminal and drive you back to your hotel.
The first night is in a local lodge in Dhampus village, after the two-hour walk from Phedi. Dinner is at the lodge. Rooms are simple hill rooms with a bed and blankets; bathrooms may be shared depending on the house that night.
The second night is in a hotel at Sarangkot, after the walk along the ridge. You'll eat dinner there and sleep close to the sunrise point. Bring a warm layer for both evenings, because the ridge loses heat quickly once the sun drops behind the Annapurna wall.
On day one we'll collect you at 10:00 from your Kathmandu hotel and drive you to the domestic terminal for the half-hour flight to Pokhara. From Pokhara you'll drive to Phedi, have lunch, and hike about two hours to Dhampus village for the night.

Yes. The Kathmandu to Pokhara flight on day one and the return flight on day three are part of the trip. We'll take you to the domestic terminal and meet you again in Pokhara.
Hold on to your passport, as you will need it at the airport. Flight times can move with mountain weather; your guide will keep you on the revised plan if a departure shifts.
You'll sleep in a local lodge in Dhampus on the first night, with dinner at the lodge. The second night is in a hotel at Sarangkot after the walk up from the village.
Lodges and hill hotels are simple: a bed, blankets, and a shared or private bathroom depending on the house. Bring a warm layer for the evening, because the ridge cools quickly after sunset.
Lunch and dinner are included on day one. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included on day two. Breakfast is included on day three before you fly back.
Water, snacks, and drinks between meals are your own. Tell us about dietary needs when you book so the lodges can plan.
The walking days are short. Day one is about two hours from Phedi to Dhampus. Day two is a shorter walk from Dhampus to Sarangkot, with time on the ridge for sunset.
You do not need previous trekking experience. You should be comfortable on village paths and happy to sleep two nights in simple hill lodges. The minimum age is 13.
Dhampus is a Gurung village on a wooded ridge above Pokhara, with farm terraces and a clear view of the Annapurna wall when the sky is open. Sarangkot is the hill above the lake, looking toward Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, and Annapurna II.
You'll walk through villages and a short stretch of woods, not a high pass. The nights are for lodge dinners and, on the second evening, sunset from Sarangkot.
Bring sturdy walking shoes, a daypack, layered clothes, a warm jacket for the lodge nights, sun protection, and your passport. A rain layer helps if a shower crosses the ridge.
Keep luggage light for the domestic flights. Your guide will confirm the pickup time the evening before you leave Kathmandu.
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the trip for a full refund, in line with the Flexible policy.
Domestic flights in the hills depend on visibility. If a flight cannot leave, we'll work with you on a new time the same day or a new date.
We'll collect you from your Kathmandu hotel at 10:00 on day one and bring you back to that hotel after the return flight on day three.
Have the hotel name ready when you book. If you are staying outside the ring road, tell us so we can plan the extra drive to the domestic terminal.
This is a guided village walk with lodge nights, not a qualification course. You will not receive a trekking award.
Your English-speaking guide stays with you from the Kathmandu pickup through both walking days and the airport transfers.
