After 8:30am pickup and bike fitting in Chiang Mai, the shuttle heads north for a rarely used dirt road climb toward Pakia summit at around 1,500m. Lunch comes en route before basic hut check-in and sunset views over the Chiang Dao range.
An early start catches sunrise on day two, followed by breakfast and a final climb to the ultimate top before a full day of downhill riding through pine forest and hill tribe villages to Mae Taman valley. Lunch and the return shuttle to Chiang Mai wrap up the expedition.

Doi Pakia sits across from the famous Doi Chiang Dao range in northern Thailand's highland zone, 75 km north of Chiang Mai. Pine forest, hill tribe villages and cool mountain air at 1,500m create a Himalayan atmosphere rare this close to the city.
