Learn to windsurf over a focused weekend on the Costa del Sol, combining structured coaching with warm, consistent conditions. This beginner camp is designed to build strong foundations quickly while still feeling relaxed and enjoyable.
This weekend camp is designed to give you a strong introduction to windsurfing in a short period of time. With multiple sessions across two days, you’ll have the opportunity to practise consistently and build confidence faster than in a single lesson.
The focus is on learning the fundamentals properly from the start. You’ll work on balance, sail control, and movement across the water, with coaching tailored to your pace. The structured approach ensures you are not just trying the sport, but actually developing the core skills needed to progress further.
Alongside windsurfing, there is also the option to try additional activities such as SUP or bodyboarding during downtime. This keeps the experience varied while still maintaining a clear focus on windsurfing progression.
The camp takes place in Estepona, at Atalaya Beach between Marbella and Estepona. This spot is selected for its consistent wind directions, including Poniente and Levante, which support reliable learning conditions.
The bay offers a balanced setup for beginners, with manageable launching and reduced risk of drifting. You’ll meet near Calle de la Grulla in Atalaya Isdabe, with easy access to the beach and water. The surrounding area also offers additional activities and facilities for a full weekend experience.
No prior experience is required. This camp is designed specifically for beginners and introduces all key skills step by step.
Participants should be comfortable in the water and able to swim while wearing a buoyancy aid. A basic level of fitness is recommended due to the time spent on the water.
