Essential remote trauma response, training, and full assessment. Our Outdoor First Aid training gives activity instructors the practical skills and confidence to respond effectively to injuries and emergencies in outdoor environments. You’ll learn how to assess situations, provide first aid, manage common outdoor injuries and illnesses, and respond to more serious incidents until further help arrives. The course focuses on practical, scenario-based learning, helping you stay calm and make informed decisions in challenging environments.
Simple, affordable base for candidates completing single or sequential training modules for only £25/night.

About the centre
Cornwall
From our beach site on the Cornish south coast we run instructor-led land and water sessions for schools, groups and families. You get direct access to the shore for kayaking, coasteering and paddleboarding, plus on-site climbing, caving, high ropes and target sports in one place.
Residential programmes include meals, accommodation and evening activities for school groups and summer camps. Flexible formats suit day visits, multi-night stays and holiday clubs for children aged 7 to 15, with qualified staff and equipment provided for scheduled sessions.
Learning Outside the Classroom Quality
The Department for Education’s guidance on Health & Safety on Educational Visits recommends that schools look for the LOtC Quality Badge when choosing external providers of educational visits. The Outdoor Education Advisers’ Panel endorse the LOtC Quality Badge and most Local Authority and Academy Trust’s Outdoor Education Advisers accept it in place of some or all of their provider checks, so using a LOtC Quality Badge holder reduces your own paperwork. Senedd Cymru endorse the advice provided by OEAP Cymru which includes using a LOtC Quality Badge holder.
