Long bus, shuttle or a small plane. From Placencia it's still a committed transfer. Build a travel day.

Village days and gentle snorkel can be. Jungle heat and mud still count. Remote logistics are the real grade.

If you only have a long weekend for Belize. Use it when you can give the south its own block, especially in the rains.

Things to do in Toledo

Toledo is Punta Gorda, Maya villages and the far south: rainforest, slower boats, snorkel cayes, and more rain. It's the opposite of a Caulker weekend. You'll come because this is the point of the trip, not because you had two spare nights after ATM.
