Yes. Flights are run by licensed pilots in well-maintained balloons, and only go in suitable, calm weather.

Will it bother me if I am scared of heights?

Often not. The basket moves with the air rather than against it, so there is no swaying or falling sensation, and many nervous flyers are surprised how calm it feels.

Casual layers and flat, sturdy shoes. Mornings can be cool, and you will be standing in a basket.

How long does a flight last?

Typically around an hour in the air, plus time either side for setup and the trip back. The operator confirms the timings.

Why do flights get cancelled?

Ballooning depends on calm, settled weather, so flights are often rescheduled if the wind or conditions are wrong. It is for your safety and the experience.

Hot Air Balloning à Centro (Centre)

A hot air balloon flight is the gentlest way to leave the ground. You climb into the basket, the burner roars, and then you are rising silently into the calm morning air, drifting wherever the wind decides to take you. It is serene rather than scary, and the views go on for miles.

There is nothing to learn and nothing to do but enjoy it, which makes it perfect for a special occasion or anyone who fancies the view without the adrenaline. Flights usually go early or late, when the air is calmest.

The operators on adventuro run balloon flights with experienced pilots and the safety side handled. Bring a camera and a sense of occasion, and expect an early alarm.
