What is the headline adventure?

Peak Lenin (7,134 m) is the region's flagship, one of the more accessible 7,000 m summits in the world, reached from the Achik-Tash base camp in the Alay valley.

When is the best time to visit?

July to September for Peak Lenin and high trekking; May, June and October suit the lower walnut forests, canyons and cultural trips, which are hot in midsummer.

Do I need experience?

Peak Lenin demands genuine high-altitude experience , but the region also has forest trekking, rafting and cultural tours suitable for most. Each course page states the grade.

Osh has an airport and is the road-head for the south, with base camps and trailheads reached by road via the Pamir Highway. Operators handle transfers and logistics.
