See Vlorë and the Karaburun coast in golden hour on a two-hour evening boat experience. You visit Haxhi Ali Cave, then trace the shoreline past beaches and landmarks while the sun drops over the Ionian Sea.
This is an evening sightseeing cruise rather than a long swim day. You leave Vlorë while there is still enough light to see inside Haxhi Ali Cave and hear the stories tied to the name, then follow the Karaburun shoreline past hidden beaches, rock formations and landmarks that are easier to spot from the water than from the promenade. The skipper keeps a comfortable pace so you can stay on deck for wide views as the sun drops and the sky colours over the Ionian Sea, with commentary on what you pass without rushing the return.
The boat traces the peninsula and sweeps back along Vlorë's lit waterfront as street lights and resort outlines appear against pink and orange sky. Wear a light layer because evenings on the bay feel cooler than ashore, bring a camera or phone with a wrist strap, and plan about two hours on board before dinner in town. Swimming is not the focus of this sailing; if you want extended time in the water, choose one of our daytime speedboat or full-day tours instead.
Evening departures use the same Rruga Cameria meeting point as daytime boat trips, putting you onto the bay with the Karaburun Peninsula ahead and the city lights behind you as you return.
Watching sunset from the water reveals angles on Vlorë's coastline that you cannot see from a hotel balcony, including beaches and headlands that are awkward to reach by road.
No boating experience is needed. You should be comfortable seated on a moving boat for roughly two hours, including gentle swell on the open bay.
Minimum age 5 with a supervising adult. Young children should stay seated when the crew asks, especially during harbour exits and cave approaches.
Evening skippers time the run so you reach the cave before light fades, then adjust speed along the coast to keep the horizon in view without rushing the return.
Life jackets and safety equipment are on board throughout, and departures only go ahead when conditions are suitable for a comfortable sunset cruise rather than a rough crossing.
Meet on Rruga Cameria in Vlorë (postcode 9401) at the time on your booking confirmation. Arrive a little early for boarding and the safety brief.
Public transport serves the waterfront; taxis are easy from hotels around Vlorë and the riviera. Summer parking can be busy, so allow extra time on peak days.
The cruise lasts about two hours from boarding to return, including the run to Haxhi Ali Cave while there is still daylight to see inside the chamber.
Exact return time shifts slightly with sunset season and sea conditions; your confirmation shows the evening departure slot you booked.
Departure time is shown on the booking widget and your confirmation email for the date you chose. Evening sailings are timed so you reach the cave before light fades, then follow the coast as the sky colours.
Arrive at Rruga Cameria a little early for boarding and the safety brief, especially in summer when the waterfront is busy.
Children aged five and older may join when accompanied by a responsible adult for the full two hours on board. The age on your voucher must be met on the evening you sail.
Young children should stay seated when the crew asks during harbour exits and cave approaches, when the deck can feel more lively than on a calm beach day.
Yes. This is a scenic evening cruise with deck time, coastal stories and photo stops as the light changes. You visit Haxhi Ali Cave in daylight early in the trip rather than planning a long swim stop.
If you want extended swimming at Karaburun beaches, choose one of our daytime speedboat or full-day boat tours instead.
Bring a light jacket or layer because evenings on the bay feel cooler than the promenade. A camera or phone with a wrist strap is useful for harbour and sunset shots.
Sunscreen is still worthwhile on late-summer departures. Snacks and water are fine to bring; there is no meal service on board.
Hotel pickup is not included. Make your own way to Rruga Cameria, Vlorë, for the evening time on your confirmation.
Taxis are easy from central hotels; allow a few extra minutes in peak season when parking near the port fills up.
Evening cruises need calm enough seas for a comfortable run to the cave and along the open bay. If conditions are unsafe, the operator may delay, shorten the route or cancel with rebook or refund rights under the stated policy.
Light cloud can still produce dramatic sunset colour; the skipper makes the final harbour decision with safety first.
Shared evening departures take up to the maximum guests listed on this page, plus crew. The cap keeps boarding orderly and gives everyone room on deck for sunset views.
This product is a shared cruise, not a private charter; book the private Karaburun listing if you need the boat for your party only.
Life jackets, emergency equipment and a medical kit are on board for the whole evening. The crew briefs the group before leaving the harbour on where kit is stored.
Children should wear a jacket whenever the skipper advises, especially near the cave mouth and during boarding.
Cancel free up to twenty-four hours before the scheduled evening start for a full refund. Later changes depend on spare seats on that sailing and may be treated as a new booking.
No-shows and late arrival without notice are non-refundable. If we cancel for weather or operations, you receive a rebook or a full refund.

Vlorë
We run guided boat and speedboat trips along the Albanian Riviera from Vlorë, visiting sea caves, hidden bays and islands such as Sazan and the Karaburun Peninsula. Our skippers know these waters well and keep groups comfortable whether you join a shared departure or book a private charter for your own pace.
Safety kit, life jackets and onboard support are part of every trip. We welcome families and mixed groups within the age and capacity limits for each route, and we monitor weather and sea conditions so you can focus on swimming, sightseeing and time on the water.
