Experience quad biking across rugged Highland Perthshire landscapes on a one-hour trek led by experienced instructors. Sessions are tailored to match your group’s ability, making it a great option whether you’re looking for a fast-paced ride or something more easy-going through the woods and hills.
Your trek begins with a full safety briefing and time to get comfortable on the bikes. Instructors introduce basic handling techniques before setting off, making sure everyone feels confident, whether you're new to quads or have been on one before. You’ll start on a flatter section of trail to get your bearings before progressing to more interesting features as you go. All treks are instructor-led, and the pace is matched to your group’s ability, so no one feels out of place.
The route includes a mix of terrain—muddy tracks, tree-lined sections, built-in features, and steeper gradients that add a challenge for those who want it. With views across the Perthshire countryside, the session gives you a proper feel for the local terrain. Expect to get muddy, especially after rainfall, and be ready to enjoy a solid hour of hands-on riding with plenty of twists, turns and off-road sections. All equipment is provided, including sanitised helmets, gloves, boots and eye protection if you don’t bring your own.
This session takes place just south of Perth near Ardargie, in the heart of Highland Perthshire. The trails cut through private countryside with views across fields, wooded areas, and hills. It’s easily accessible by road and offers a proper countryside setting without needing to venture too far off the beaten track.
The area is known for its natural beauty and makes for a great day out away from built-up locations. The site is set up exclusively for quad biking, with routes that have been designed specifically for a variety of ability levels. Whether you’re coming from Perth, Dundee, or further afield, the location is well placed for a half-day or full-day trip.
All riders must be at least 12 years old and able to operate the brakes on an adult-sized bicycle. No previous experience is required, as full instruction is given at the start of every session. Riders are encouraged to bring their own outdoor gear where possible, especially older clothes, gloves, and waterproof boots or wellies. However, if you don’t have suitable gear, everything you need can be supplied and is cleaned and ready for use.
The session is designed to be inclusive, so if you're nervous or unsure, the instructors are on hand to support you throughout. Every trek is led by a qualified instructor who’ll stay with you the whole time, adjusting the pace and difficulty depending on how comfortable everyone is. Treks run in all weather conditions, so it’s important to dress accordingly.
This centre is all about making quad biking accessible, safe, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone. With years of experience delivering sessions in Highland Perthshire, the team knows how to pitch each trek to suit your needs, whether you’re here with mates or planning a family day out. Their flexible approach and excellent customer feedback speak for themselves.
As well as quad biking, they’re happy to help organise other outdoor activities nearby so you can build a full day out around your visit. The instructors are professional and friendly, and all equipment is well maintained and sanitised. Most importantly, the tracks have been purpose-built to offer a proper outdoor ride—with space to pick up speed, handle some climbs, and take on a few muddy patches along the way.
You should wear clothes you don’t mind getting muddy. Long sleeves and full-length trousers are recommended to help protect your arms and legs while riding. Gloves are also helpful for grip and hand protection, especially in colder or wet weather.
Waterproof boots or wellies are ideal for keeping your feet dry and giving better grip on the pedals. If you have your own helmet, gloves, and goggles, you’re welcome to bring them, but all safety gear is provided if needed. Everything supplied is cleaned and sanitised between sessions.
All quad biking sessions are led in small groups by a qualified instructor. Everyone in the group rides their own quad bike, following the instructor along the designated route through the site.
Group sizes are kept manageable so the instructor can tailor the route and support each rider as needed. Whether you come alone or with others, you'll be part of a friendly, well-supervised ride across mixed terrain.
Quad biking is active but doesn’t require a high level of fitness. As long as you can confidently ride a bicycle and operate brake controls, you’ll be able to manage the trek.
There are breaks built in to the ride, and the pace is always set to suit the ability of the group. If you’ve never ridden before or are nervous, the instructor will adjust the route and pace to help you feel more comfortable.
Treks go ahead in all weather conditions—including rain, wind, and light snow—so long as it’s safe to do so. In fact, wet conditions often make the track muddier, which adds to the experience.
You’ll need to dress appropriately for the weather. Waterproofs and gloves help in colder or wetter conditions. The site may delay or reschedule in rare cases of extreme weather, but this is uncommon.
Yes, the activity is designed to be safe for complete beginners. The session starts with a full safety briefing and basic instruction so you can get used to the controls before heading off.
The instructor remains with the group throughout the trek, providing guidance and adjusting the difficulty level to suit the group’s confidence and ability. All the equipment is well maintained and safety-checked.
The minimum age is 12, but riders must also be able to operate the brakes on an adult-sized bike. This ensures they have the coordination and control required for safe riding.
Parents or guardians will need to sign a consent form for under 18s. The instructor will always check everyone is comfortable and confident before starting the trek, especially with younger participants.
No driving licence is required. The quads used are fully automatic and easy to operate with hand controls for acceleration and braking.
They’re specifically chosen for off-road use and group sessions, so no prior experience is necessary. Everything you need to know will be explained during the safety briefing.
