Begin your morning with a private sunrise sailing cruise off the coast of Barcelona. The first rays of sunlight reflect on calm waters, creating a peaceful atmosphere that makes for an unforgettable start to the day. With the yacht exclusively yours, enjoy intimate privacy with up to 10 people while sipping fresh coffee, sampling pastries, and watching the city wake up from the water. Dolphins and porpoises sometimes accompany early trips, adding a touch of wildlife to the experience.
Board the yacht at Marina Vela’s main entrance, where the skipper greets you and provides a full briefing on safety, yacht layout, and how to move around the deck safely. As you glide away from the marina, the city begins to come alive behind you while the open sea remains quiet and gentle. The morning’s soft light enhances the view of Barcelona’s skyline, the W Hotel, and the Port Vell promenade.
During the cruise, enjoy fresh coffee, pastries, and juice while you relax on deck, take photographs, or simply watch the horizon. The skipper may pause the yacht in a calm spot, allowing time to use the swim platform for a refreshing dip or just stretch out on deck. Dolphins or porpoises occasionally swim alongside the boat, creating magical, memorable moments. The return journey takes you back to Marina Vela with the city fully awake, providing a perspective of Barcelona few people ever see.
The meeting point is on the street directly in front of Restaurant MOLO39 at Plaça de Pau Vila 39, 08039 Barcelona. Guests should wait outside at street level rather than on the terrace, as this is where the crew will collect you. It’s on the south side of Palau de Mar, just before the restaurant entrance, making it easy to spot when approaching the square. Please remain outside, as going into the restaurant or walking into the marina can make it harder for the team to find you.
Once collected by the crew, you’ll be escorted to the boat in the nearby marina area for boarding. The cruise then heads out along Barcelona’s waterfront, moving past the city’s beaches and well-known shoreline features before continuing several miles offshore. This route offers clear views of the coastline and provides a reliable area for calm sailing conditions, especially earlier in the day. The sheltered harbour ensures safe access on and off the boat for all participants.
Guests should be able to move safely on deck and follow the skipper’s safety instructions. Swimming is optional, with supervision provided by the crew.
It is recommended to wear layered clothing for early-morning temperatures and non-slip shoes. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera are essential for enjoying the views and capturing the experience. Guests may also wish to bring towels, personal items for comfort, or binoculars for wildlife observation.
The yacht fleet consists of modern Dufour models with spacious cockpits, comfortable seating, and sunbathing areas, designed to combine comfort with ease of movement. The yachts are well maintained and equipped with professional-grade deck equipment.
Our team blends professionalism with a friendly, approachable style. RYA-certified skippers are experienced in coastal and offshore navigation and are committed to ensuring guests enjoy every aspect of the cruise. The small crew creates a personalised experience, maintaining a calm, relaxed atmosphere while offering local insights, helping with photography, and highlighting points of interest along the coast. Private trips allow complete control over timing, stops, and onboard comfort.

⚠️ Don’t go inside the restaurant or into the marina.
It’s best to dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Even in summer, it can get breezy on the water, so a light jacket or windbreaker is recommended. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen will help protect you from the sun, and a towel is handy if you plan to get a little wet.
Footwear should be flat and secure; avoid flip-flops or slippery shoes. You might also consider bringing a small bag for personal items, and a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the tour. Checking the weather forecast ahead of time helps ensure you pack exactly what you need.
Lunch is not included, but a selection of snacks and refreshments is provided. You can expect items such as local cheese, cured meats, breadsticks, olives, cupcakes, and crisps. Drinks include soft drinks, iced tea, and alcoholic beverages like wine, beer, and cava.
If you have specific dietary requirements, let us know in advance so we can make arrangements. Our team works with partners to offer suitable alternatives whenever possible, ensuring everyone can enjoy the onboard refreshments.
Children are welcome on board and are considered full passengers. The number of spots is limited, so all passengers—including infants—need to be registered and paid for to guarantee a safe and comfortable experience.
Parents should ensure children are supervised at all times and are comfortable around water. Life jackets are provided for all passengers, including children, to maintain safety standards throughout the tour.
It’s important to arrive on time as tours cannot accommodate late arrivals. Boats operate on strict schedules, and missing the start time means the tour may depart without you to stay on schedule.
We recommend leaving plenty of time to reach the meeting point, considering traffic, public transport, or other delays. Checking the location in advance and planning accordingly helps ensure you don’t miss any part of the experience.
Safety is a top priority. All boats are commercially certified and regularly inspected to meet strict maritime standards. Professional skippers handle navigation, and a well-stocked medical kit is kept onboard. The tour route stays close to the coast for additional safety and emergency access.
Weather conditions are constantly monitored. If conditions become unsafe, the tour will be rescheduled or cancelled to prevent any risk to passengers. Passengers are also briefed on safety procedures at the start of the tour, and life jackets are provided for everyone.
Pets are not permitted on this sailing activity to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers. The boats are designed to accommodate a specific number of human passengers, and adding pets could disrupt safety and space.
If you would like to bring a pet along, consider alternative options such as arranging care onshore or looking into pet-friendly excursions in the area. This ensures you can still enjoy your sailing experience without worrying about your pet’s welfare.
Tours only get cancelled in rare circumstances, usually due to unsafe weather conditions or operational issues. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible so you can adjust your plans without stress. Safety is always prioritised, so cancellations are done to ensure everyone on board remains secure.
If the activity is cancelled, you will be offered the option to reschedule for another available date or receive a full refund. This ensures you don’t miss out on the experience entirely, and gives flexibility in case your schedule changes.
Yes, this cruise is fully suitable for beginners. The skipper handles all navigation, sail management, and safety measures, allowing you to focus on enjoying the sea and the sunrise. You won’t need any previous sailing experience to feel comfortable, and the briefing at the start of the trip covers everything you need to know about moving safely on deck, accessing drinks and snacks, and using the swim platform if you choose.
In addition, life jackets are provided for all guests, and the crew is trained to assist in any scenario, ensuring that you can relax fully and take in the calm morning waters. The gentle winds of early morning make it a particularly beginner-friendly experience, as the yacht moves smoothly without sudden movements.
