Your own guide and vehicle unlock Osmena Peak, Cebu's highest viewpoint, and Kawasan Falls on a day trip from Cebu City. Entrance fees, lunch, snacks and round-trip hotel transport are included, so you can move at your own pace between the highlands and the forest cascade.
Departure from Cebu around 05:00 takes you to Mantalungon in Dalaguete, arriving after roughly two and a half hours on the road. A 20 to 30 minute hike takes you to Osmena Peak for panoramic views over Cebu's highest ridge and the coast on clear days, with your guide setting a comfortable pace for your group.
Kawasan Falls follows the highland trek, with a 15 to 20 minute forest walk beside the river to the first cascade where you can swim in the turquoise pools and relax. Included lunch and snacks are served during the day before the return drive to your hotel in Cebu City or Mactan in the evening.
Osmena Peak rises in the Mantalungon highlands of Dalaguete with jagged limestone formations and sea views on clear days. The trail passes through grassland and rocky outcrops that feel a world away from the coastal city you left that morning.
Kawasan Falls lies inland in Badian, fed by spring water through a lush gorge. Travelling with your own vehicle lets you link two of south Cebu's signature landscapes in one day without sharing a coach with other groups.
Moderate fitness for two short treks is enough, and comfortable swimming in cool water at the falls makes the afternoon more enjoyable. No technical skills or previous hiking experience is required on the standard Osmena Peak trail.
Sturdy shoes with good grip suit the peak and forest paths. Your guide can adjust pacing if anyone in your group prefers a slower approach at either stop.
Your own guide and vehicle, included meals and entrance fees, and flexible pacing from peak to waterfall let you experience two of Cebu's best-known landscapes in one long but rewarding day.
Your dedicated guide travels with you throughout, helping you make the most of the summit views and the Kawasan pools without the constraints of a shared schedule.
Departure from Cebu City is around 05:00 with hotel pickup included. The drive to Mantalungon in Dalaguete takes about two and a half hours before the trek to Osmena Peak begins.
Your private guide adjusts pacing for your group throughout the day. Arrive with sturdy footwear and a light layer for the breezy summit, plus a swimsuit packed for Kawasan Falls later in the afternoon.
Yes. This is a private day for your group only, with a dedicated guide and vehicle from Cebu City. You move at your own pace at Osmena Peak and Kawasan Falls without sharing transport with other travellers.
Groups are kept to one to five guests on this private day. Your guide stays with you from hotel pickup through both treks and the return drive in the evening.
The hike from Mantalungon to Osmena Peak takes about 20 to 30 minutes each way on a well-used trail. At the summit you get wide views over Cebu's highest ridge and the coast on clear days.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring a light layer for the breezy summit. Your guide sets a comfortable pace and allows time for photos before you descend back to the vehicle for the drive to Kawasan Falls.
After the peak you continue to Kawasan Falls for a 15 to 20 minute forest trek beside the river to the first cascade. Swim in the turquoise pools and relax before the return drive to Cebu.
Your guide sets the time at each stop based on your group's pace. The contrast between the highland viewpoint and the cool forest pools makes the day feel varied and rewarding.
Lunch, snacks and entrance fees for the included sites are covered in your tour. Mention dietary needs when you share your accommodation name so your guide can plan ahead where possible.
Bring extra water for the treks if you want more than the provided snacks. The included refreshments help on this long day with two separate walking sections and several hours of driving.
Round-trip private transport from your Cebu City, Mactan or Mandaue hotel is included. You travel in a dedicated vehicle with your guide for the full day between Dalaguete and Badian.
Provide your accommodation details when you share your accommodation name so the driver can confirm your pickup time. The private format means no shared coach stops or waiting for other groups along the route.
There is no minimum age on this private day and families with older children often complete the Osmena Peak trail together. Young children should be closely supervised on uneven paths at the peak and on wet rocks at Kawasan Falls.
Your guide can set a slower pace if anyone in your group needs extra time on the trails. The private format makes it easier to tailor the day to mixed-age groups without rushing.
Wear hiking shoes or trainers with grip, light layers and a hat for the peak. Bring a swimsuit and towel for Kawasan Falls and reef-safe sunscreen for both the highland and forest sections.
A small daypack with water and personal items supplements the included refreshments. Quick-drying fabrics work well since you will trek in the morning and swim in the afternoon.
Cloud and rain can obscure views at Osmena Peak and make forest paths slippery at Kawasan Falls. Your guide may adjust timings or shorten sections if conditions make either trek less comfortable.
Light rain may still allow the Kawasan visit with extra care on wet rocks. Your guide will explain any changes on the day and help your group make the most of each stop regardless of conditions.
Reasonable fitness for two short treks and several hours of driving is all you need. No technical climbing skills are required on the standard Osmena Peak trail, and the Kawasan approach is a gentle forest walk.
Let your guide know if you need a slower pace at any point. The private format means your group can take extra breaks at the summit or by the falls without keeping other travellers waiting.
