Leap, climb, swim, and abseil your way along the dramatic northern coastline of Mallorca on this high-energy coasteering session. With sea caves, cliff jumps and an abseil into the water, it’s a half-day adventure that’s ideal for families and anyone aged 10+ looking to try something exciting.
The session kicks off with a full safety briefing and introduction to the gear. Your guide will tailor the pace and challenges to suit the group, making sure everyone is confident before entering the water. The route includes a variety of features from rocky ledges to natural pools and hidden sea caves, giving you the chance to try different skills in one continuous adventure.
You’ll begin with easy scrambling along the shoreline and build up to cliff jumps ranging from 3 to 10 metres. There's no pressure to jump from the highest ledges—everything is optional, and you’ll be supported every step of the way. Between jumps, you’ll climb along sea-level traverses and swim across inlets, always under the watchful eye of your guide.
A standout part of this session is the sea cave and abseil. After exploring the cave’s narrow entrance and sheltered chamber, you’ll gear up for a controlled descent down the rock face into the sea. It’s a memorable way to round off the session and gives you a different challenge compared to other coasteering locations. Expect plenty of laughs, moments of personal achievement, and shared stories with the rest of your group.
The northern coastline around Alcúdia offers a completely different feel from the south, with its rugged limestone cliffs, turquoise water and pockets of hidden coves. This part of the island is quieter, less developed, and ideal for getting out into natural surroundings without travelling too far from the main resort areas.
Alcúdia itself is well-connected, with parking nearby and easy access from Port de Pollença or Can Picafort. The location has been carefully chosen for its variety of features and is suitable in a wide range of sea conditions. With its mix of terrain and quiet setting, it’s one of the best spots for an adventurous day out.
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to take part, try something new and have fun. All technical skills like abseiling and climbing will be demonstrated clearly, and everything is introduced gradually throughout the session.
Participants must be able to swim and feel confident in open water. A decent level of fitness helps, especially when climbing or moving across rocks. If anyone in your group is unsure, the guides are happy to adapt the route to match everyone’s needs.
The guides here are specialists in delivering outdoor adventures in Mallorca’s most scenic and exciting locations. With internationally recognised qualifications and years of practical experience, safety is always the first priority. Each activity is carefully planned and supervised to ensure it's enjoyable, challenging and fully supported.
Whether you’re joining with friends or family, you’ll be looked after from start to finish. The session is built to give everyone a chance to succeed at their own pace while experiencing something new. Backed by major tour operators and trusted by returning customers, this team has become a go-to provider for outdoor adventures across the island.
Yes, children aged 10 and up can take part, as long as they’re confident swimmers and comfortable in open water. The route and challenges are adapted to suit the group, so younger participants won’t be expected to do anything they’re not ready for. Families regularly take part, and the instructors are experienced in keeping the session engaging and safe for all ages.
That said, it’s important that each child is accompanied by a responsible adult who can support and encourage them. The guides will take care of the safety and instruction, but having someone familiar there always makes a difference for younger participants.
Not at all. The abseil and climbs included in the session are guided and supported from start to finish. The instructors will give you a full demo and coach you through everything as it happens. You'll use a harness and rope for the abseil, and your descent will be controlled the entire time.
Climbing sections are usually low-level and don’t require technical ability. They’re more like scrambles over rocks and ledges. The session is designed so that even first-timers feel comfortable tackling each part.
You’ll need to bring a towel and swimwear to wear under the wetsuit. Wet shoes are included. Dry clothes and a bottle of water are also recommended for after the session.
Avoid bringing valuables or electronics, as there’s nowhere secure to store them during the activity. If you have a waterproof camera like a GoPro, make sure it’s properly mounted and secure.
Yes, all jumps—regardless of height—are entirely optional. The session is about challenging yourself at your own pace. If you’re not comfortable jumping from higher ledges, the guides will always offer an alternative route or exit point.
In fact, many participants start out unsure but gradually build confidence through the session. It’s a no-pressure environment where your own personal comfort is the priority. There’s no competition, just encouragement.
The northern coastline offers unique terrain that includes sea caves, more rugged rock formations and quieter surroundings compared to the busier southern coast. The sea cave element adds something extra to the session that you won’t find everywhere.
It’s also a less developed part of the island, so you get a real feeling of being out in nature. The variation in the landscape—cliffs, ledges, pools, and caves—makes the route exciting and varied throughout the whole four hours.
