Leave the crowds behind and enjoy four hours on the Tagus River with a private boat reserved exclusively for your group of up to 10 people. With time to explore Lisbon's famous landmarks, relax onboard and stop for a swim when conditions allow, this experience offers a flexible way to enjoy the city from the water.
Your experience begins at Doca de Alcântara, where you'll meet your skipper before boarding a comfortable private boat reserved exclusively for your group. Following a short safety briefing, you'll cruise onto the Tagus River and begin a relaxed journey along Lisbon's waterfront. Because the boat is yours for the duration of the trip, there's complete freedom to enjoy the experience at your own pace, whether you want to sit back with family, celebrate with friends or simply take in the scenery.
As you sail along the river, you'll pass many of Lisbon's best-known landmarks, including Praça do Comércio, Alfama, Cristo Rei, the 25 de Abril Bridge, Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and MAAT. The skipper can adjust the pace of the journey where possible, giving you plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs or simply enjoy uninterrupted views of the city's historic and modern waterfront.
During warmer weather and when river conditions are suitable, there's the opportunity to anchor in a suitable location and enjoy a refreshing swim away from the busier parts of the river. You're also welcome to bring your own food and drinks onboard, or optional catering can be arranged before departure if you'd prefer everything to be ready when you arrive.
Departing from Doca de Alcântara, the tour starts from one of Lisbon's most convenient marina locations, close to the city centre and easily reached from hotels, public transport and taxi services. Meeting the crew is straightforward, allowing your group to begin the experience without unnecessary delays.
The Tagus River offers one of the finest viewpoints in Lisbon, combining famous monuments, colourful neighbourhoods and impressive riverside architecture into one memorable journey. Cruising on the water provides a peaceful way to experience the city while enjoying open space and uninterrupted panoramic views.
This experience is suitable for couples, families and private groups of up to 10 people. No previous boating experience is required, as your professional skipper will operate the boat throughout the entire tour and provide a safety briefing before departure.
Comfortable clothing and flat shoes are recommended, along with sunglasses, sunscreen and a light jacket depending on the weather. If you hope to swim during the optional stop, don't forget to bring swimwear and a towel.
Every charter is designed around your group, giving you exclusive use of a comfortable boat and the flexibility to enjoy Lisbon in your own way. Experienced skippers, well-maintained boats and a personalised approach ensure every trip is safe, relaxed and tailored to your preferences wherever possible.
From your first welcome at the marina until you return to shore, the focus is on providing a smooth and enjoyable experience. Whether you're planning a family outing, celebrating with friends or simply looking for a memorable day on the water, you'll benefit from reliable service and local knowledge throughout your cruise.
The boat is reserved exclusively for your booking, meaning only your group will be onboard. Whether there is one person or up to ten people in your party, you'll have sole use of the boat throughout the four-hour experience.
This private setting allows you to enjoy the cruise at your own pace without sharing space with other passengers. It also makes the experience ideal for families, groups of friends and special occasions.
The boat can accommodate private groups of up to 10 people. The price covers the entire boat rather than charging per person, making it excellent value for larger groups travelling together.
Whether you're booking for two people or filling all ten places, you'll still enjoy exclusive use of the boat with the same personalised experience and professional skipper.
