Keep the combined hills and Belém day between your own party. This private e-bike outing starts in Lisbon, then lets the guide match climbs, the lunch pause, and Belém tastings to the people in front of them.
Fitting and a control check happen by the river in Lisbon before you leave. From there you climb toward hilltop lookouts, with a Pastel de Bacalhau stop in the first half. The motor takes the steepest pitches so the morning stays conversational. Because the booking is private, photo stops and commentary can linger when your party wants them, and the guide keeps a short private line together through cobbles, tram lines, and crossings.
A lunch pause you pay for yourself sits about halfway, then you follow the Tagus to Belém for outside monument views, Ginjinha, and Pastel de Belém. Lunch and interior monument tickets are not in the price. An edited digital video is sent afterwards. You do not share the bikes or the briefing with other bookings. See the itinerary for the shape of the day, which wraps after about six hours at the same riverfront meeting area.
A private combined day still belongs to Lisbon's two moods: steep tiled streets above the river, then the brighter, flatter waterfront that runs west. You meet in Lisbon, near Cais do Sodré. Metro, trams, taxis, and cafés make it a straightforward gather point before a long morning in the saddle.
The first half is the historic core, with cobbles, tram lines, and lookouts over rooftops. The second half follows the Tagus toward Belém for monument views from the outside. Shared paths and short busier crossings sit in both halves. You finish back at the same riverfront, so the city reads as a loop rather than a one-way dash to the tower.
Every rider should be able to handle a bicycle in an urban setting for a long morning, including braking on cobbles and riding in a short private line. The motor helps on the hills. Attention at crossings still sits with you.
Height above 1.45 m is required for the frames. There is no numeric minimum age. Closed-toe shoes and clothes you can move in for six hours are enough. Mention health or confidence concerns when you book so the briefing can be tailored.
A private cap of five keeps the convoy small enough for alleyways and shared waterfront paths, and for a guide who learned these streets as daily work. André's Lisbon background means the talk at each stop is local, and a private slot lets a six-hour day sit with your household rather than with a mixed group's clock.
Hills plus Belém is a full city day done properly: assistance on the climbs, named tastings, an edited video afterwards, and a lunch pause you choose yourself. You get fitted helmets, a proper briefing, and time that belongs to your party.
Expect around six hours from the private fitting in Lisbon to the return after Belém. Because the booking is private, hill stops, the lunch pause, and Belém tastings can stretch or shrink with your party rather than with strangers.
Clock times come from the live calendar. Be a few minutes early so saddle height and assistance levels are set before the first cobbles. Eat breakfast and bring water. This is a long morning even with a motor.
Only your booked party rides. There is no mixing with other guests. The cap is still five people, which matches the centre-wide maximum and keeps the line of bikes short on alleyways and shared paths.
Solo travellers and pairs are welcome. If you have more than five, split across two private departures rather than arriving extra riders on the day. Heights for every person should be sent after you reserve so frames are ready.
You still do the hill circuit and the Tagus ride to Belém in one booking, with the same named tastings and an edited video afterwards. The difference is pacing: the guide is not watching a mixed group's clock.
Lunch remains a pause you pay for yourself. Interior monument tickets are still not in the price.
Frames fit riders taller than 1.45 m. There is no numeric minimum age. Anyone under 18 needs an adult on the same private booking. Share heights when you book so the right bikes are pulled.
Six hours is a long outing. If a child is close to 1.45 m or new to city cycling, ask before you travel rather than hoping the day will shrink on the kerb.
The start is in Lisbon, near Cais do Sodré and the river. Metro, trams, and a short taxi hop from central hotels all work. Transport to the meeting point is not in the price.
Closed-toe shoes from the moment you arrive save time at the briefing. If you are coming across town at rush hour, add a buffer. The guide will not skip the safety notes to make up a late start.
The price covers e-bikes, helmets, a dedicated guide, the private format for up to five riders, a Pastel de Bacalhau stop, Ginjinha, a Pastel de Belém, and an edited digital video of the day sent afterwards.
Lunch is not included. Other food, drinks, monument interiors, and insurance are extra. Bring a little cash or a card for the lunch pause.
The guide builds in a pause for a traditional Portuguese lunch about halfway through. You choose and pay for your own meal. A private slot can linger if your party wants a longer table, yet it is still not a plated set menu inside the booking.
If you have dietary needs, say so when you book so the stop can be chosen with that in mind.
Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes with a decent sole are the basics. Skip flip-flops. A light waterproof helps on windy viewpoints and if a shower passes through.
Carry water, sunscreen, and a small bag that stays put on your back. Six hours is long enough that a spare layer earns its place. The team can flag rain kit the night before if the forecast looks wet.
Light rain is common in Lisbon and the private combined ride usually still runs. Keep speeds modest on damp cobbles, follow the guide's line, and use a waterproof so you stay comfortable at the lookouts and the waterfront.
Strong wind, storms, or standing water can make the hills a poor idea. In that case the team will contact you about moving the booking. A grey morning on its own is not an automatic cancellation.
Yes, within the five-rider cap and the 1.45 m height rule, with an adult on the booking for anyone under 18. A private slot lets the pace sit with your household, which helps mixed ages on a six-hour day.
This is still city riding: cobbles, trams, shared paths, and other traffic. It is not a closed family circuit. If a child is nervous, say so early or choose a shorter four-hour private listing instead.

What a fantastic way to discover Lisbon! 🚲🇵🇹 We had a wonderful private e-bike ride from central Lisbon to Belém Tower with our guide, André, and it was one of the highlights of our visit. André was an absolutely charming guide — warm, knowledgeable and, most importantly, genuinely passionate about…
