Wind through forest paths, mountain viewpoints and protected landscapes on this private horse riding adventure in the Rhodope Mountains. Following lesser-known trails towards the Soskovcheto Preserve and the upper reaches of the Canyon of Waterfalls, this experience combines great riding with some of the most scenic countryside around Smolyan.
Setting off from the foothills of the Rhodope Mountains, you'll ride through a network of mountain trails used by local guides to reach some of the region’s most beautiful natural areas. Surrounded by forests and fresh mountain air, the route gradually climbs through peaceful countryside where the only sounds are often birdsong and the steady rhythm of the horses.
As the trail continues, you'll reach the protected Soskovcheto Preserve, an area known for its rich natural environment and impressive mountain scenery. Nearby, the upper section of the famous Canyon of Waterfalls provides dramatic views across valleys, woodland and rocky landscapes that feel far removed from everyday life.
