Experience an exciting day of climbing with expert guidance in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. This adventure offers a bespoke multi-pitch climbing experience, tailored to your skills and preferences, set against the gorgeous backdrop of the Scottish Highlands. Whether you are looking to challenge yourself on a classic route or select a climb that suits your aims, this guided session ensures a memorable and rewarding day.
Your day begins at the Cairngorm Car Park, where you will meet your guide and discuss your previous climbing experience and goals for the day. After a briefing on the day's plan and a review of your climbing gear, you’ll set off on a 1 to 1.5-hour hike to the base of your chosen climb. Along the way, your guide will provide insights into the area's history and ecology, enhancing your overall experience.
Upon reaching the base, you’ll receive a refresher on climbing techniques and belaying procedures. The ascent will start with personalised instruction and feedback from your guide, helping you build confidence and skill. Expect to take short breaks on belay ledges to rest and enjoy the spectacular views. Once at the summit, you can relish the panoramic scenery before beginning the descent, which may involve abseiling or a scenic walk down the Fiacaill Ridge. The day concludes with a debrief at the starting point, where you can reflect on your climbing achievements.
