Paddling along Mallorca's coastline offers a unique perspective of the island's natural beauty. This guided kayak excursion combines gentle exercise with coastal exploration, taking you to secluded locations that are often inaccessible from land while enjoying the clear waters of the Mediterranean.
Starting from Santa Ponça, you'll meet your guide for a briefing and equipment fitting before launching from the nearby marina. Single and double kayaks are available, allowing participants to paddle independently or share the experience with a partner while exploring the coastline at a comfortable pace.
The route heads towards the Malgrats Marine Reserve, where dramatic coastal scenery, rocky formations, and clear waters create an ideal environment for kayaking. Along the way, you'll visit some of the area's most interesting natural features, including small sea caves and sheltered inlets that can only be accessed from the water.
A stop is usually made at a natural swimming area where participants can cool off, enjoy the surroundings, and take in the views before continuing the journey. Throughout the excursion, your guide remains nearby to provide local knowledge, assistance, and support whenever needed, while a support vessel accompanies the group for additional safety.
Santa Ponça sits on Mallorca's southwest coast and provides direct access to some of the island's most attractive paddling routes. The calm bays and sheltered waters in the area make it particularly suitable for guided kayaking excursions and coastal exploration.
The nearby Malgrats Marine Reserve adds another dimension to the experience, with protected waters, impressive coastal scenery, and excellent water clarity. Exploring this part of Mallorca by kayak allows participants to reach hidden corners of the coastline that are rarely seen from shore.
Participants must be at least 8 years old and able to swim comfortably.
No previous kayaking experience is required, making this excursion suitable for beginners as well as those with paddling experience.
Exploring the coastline by kayak allows you to travel at a relaxed pace while enjoying areas that are inaccessible to larger boats. The combination of guided exploration, swimming opportunities, and marine reserve scenery creates an enjoyable experience for families, couples, and groups.
