Learn to ride an electric foil board and lift above the surface of the Mediterranean in just one session. This private one-hour experience in Cannes combines expert instruction, high-quality equipment and calm coastal waters to help you progress quickly and safely.
Your session begins with a structured safety and technical briefing on land. The instructor explains how the electric propulsion system works, how to control speed using the handheld remote, and how to position your body for stability. You’ll learn how to start in prone or kneeling position before progressing to standing.
Once in the water, the first objective is controlled acceleration while remaining stable on the board. As confidence builds, you’ll gradually increase speed until the hydrofoil lifts the board above the surface. Most participants achieve short controlled flights within the session, supported by real-time coaching from your instructor.
As you gain stability, you’ll begin practising sustained glides and gentle directional changes. The electric motor operates quietly, allowing you to focus on balance and control while enjoying open views of the Cannes coastline. The private format ensures continuous feedback and maximises your time riding rather than waiting.
This experience takes place in Cannes, launching from Casino onBoard in Vallauris. The area offers suitable sea conditions for learning, with open water access and manageable boat traffic zones.
The coastline here combines sheltered sections and clear water, creating appropriate conditions for controlled progression. Sessions are scheduled according to weather and sea state to ensure safe riding conditions.
Participants must be at least 16 years old. A reasonable level of balance and basic comfort in the water is recommended, though no prior board sports experience is required.
Nautical activities are subject to weather conditions. If sea state or wind conditions are unsuitable for safe operation, sessions may be rescheduled. All riders must follow instructor guidance throughout the session.
We operate from the Riviera with a focus on premium, well-managed water experiences. Our instructors are trained to break down the learning process into simple, clear steps, allowing beginners to progress efficiently without unnecessary frustration.
Equipment quality matters in E-foiling. We use reliable, well-maintained boards and structured teaching methods rather than informal rental setups. Combined with private coaching and clear safety standards, this creates a controlled, enjoyable and progression-focused session on the water.
No previous experience is required. The session is designed for beginners, and the instructor will guide you step by step through the process, from basic balance to controlled lift-off.
Even if you have never tried board sports before, the structured coaching approach helps most riders achieve short flights within the hour. Prior wakeboarding, surfing or paddleboarding experience can help but is not necessary.
E-foiling requires balance and coordination rather than strength. The electric motor provides propulsion, so you are not relying on waves or towing power.
There will be some falls as part of the learning process, but the pace is controlled and adjusted to your comfort level. The instructor adapts guidance depending on your fitness and confidence.
Most participants begin to achieve short lifts within the session once they understand throttle control and body positioning.
The learning curve depends on balance and confidence, but because this is a private session, you receive continuous feedback that helps accelerate progression.
Safety is prioritised throughout the session. You receive a full briefing before entering the water and wear a life jacket at all times.
The instructor supervises you closely, and sessions only operate in appropriate weather and sea conditions. If conditions are unsafe, the activity may be rescheduled.
Falling into the water is part of the learning process and completely normal. The board’s design and the controlled speed settings help reduce impact.
Your instructor will explain how to fall safely and how to remount the board efficiently so you can continue progressing without wasting time.
Swimwear is recommended. Depending on the season, a wetsuit may be advised for comfort.
You may also wish to bring a towel and a change of clothes for after the session. Sunscreen is strongly recommended during summer months.
Participants must be at least 16 years old to ride.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult, and written parental authorisation may be required where applicable.
Spectators can remain nearby depending on local regulations and space availability at the meeting point.
However, only the booked participant will be on the board during the private session to ensure focused instruction and safety.
This is not a self-guided rental. You receive professional coaching in a private format, which significantly increases your chances of successfully lifting and riding confidently.
Using structured instruction and high-quality equipment reduces trial-and-error frustration and ensures the experience remains safe and progression-focused.
