Chasing a bit of adrenaline
Not your average helicopter ride. It’s a heart-pounding, hair-raising adventure
After check-in and a short safety briefing you lift off toward Lake Tohopekaliga. The pilot builds climbs of up to about 1,500 feet with twists and turns that feel closer to a roller coaster than a gentle sightseeing circuit.
Between the manoeuvres you still see wetland scenery and wildlife from every window seat. Flight times are approximate and may shift with weather and weight balance.
Flights leave from 4010 4th Street in Kissimmee, minutes from the resort strip and a short hop from Lake Toho.
The open lake and marsh landscape give the pilot room for the adventure profile while keeping Central Florida wildlife in view.
No flying experience is needed, but guests should be comfortable with more active helicopter movement than a standard scenic tour.
Adults must bring photo ID. One person cannot exceed 300 lb (136 kg), and three passengers together cannot exceed 600 lb (272 kg). Guests may be weighed for safety.
Private aircraft keep the cabin for your group only, with pilots who also fly the theme-park sightseeing routes from the same Kissimmee base.
This is the option for guests who want adrenaline and nature views without theme-park corridors or shared seats.
Meet at 4010 4th Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741. Free parking is available at the heliport.
Arrive at least 10 minutes early. All adult passengers must present a valid photo ID before flight.
Airborne time is about 15 minutes on this 23-mile HeliCoaster circuit around Lake Tohopekaliga. Allow extra time on the ground for check-in, a short safety briefing, and boarding.
Exact airborne time can vary slightly with wind, routing, and how dynamic the manoeuvres are on the day.
Meet at the Kissimmee heliport at 4010 4th Street, close to the US-192 corridor. Free parking is available for guests on this tour.
Arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked departure for ID checks and boarding without rushing the crew.
No. This is a private charter for your party only, so you will not share seats with other tour bookings on the same flight.
Every seat is a window seat, which helps everyone feel the climbs and turns while watching Lake Toho below.
This is a more dynamic private flight with twists, turns, and climbs of up to about 1,500 feet around Lake Tohopekaliga. You still get scenic views of wetlands and wildlife such as waterfowl, turtles, and sometimes alligators.
It is designed for guests who want more of a thrill than a straight parks sightseeing loop, without theme-park queues on the ground.
Helicopter flights need safe visibility and wind conditions. If the pilot cannot fly, you will be offered another date or a full refund under the weather terms.
Heavy rain, low cloud, lightning, or strong winds are typical reasons a slot may be moved, and the team will contact you promptly.
There is no minimum age. Infants up to 2 years old under 30 lb (14 kg) may sit on a lap and fly free. Infant seats are not available.
One person cannot exceed 300 lb (136 kg), and three passengers together cannot exceed 600 lb (272 kg). Guests may be weighed for safety.
A minimum of two passengers is required. The Robinson R44 carries up to three passengers at a time on this tour.
Larger parties are split across more than one flight so everyone still gets a private aircraft experience.
Adults must bring a photo ID (driver's licence or passport). Bring a camera with a secure strap, sunglasses, and weather-appropriate clothes.
Selfie sticks are not allowed. Secure loose items before boarding because this flight includes more movement than a gentle scenic tour.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. Guests make their own way to the Kissimmee meeting point by car, taxi, or rideshare.
Plan travel time carefully so you are not late for the safety briefing before this adventure flight.
Gratuities are not included. Taxes, fees, pilot commentary, headsets, and the private flight are covered in the tour price.
Optional champagne or photo packages may be offered at booking, and tips for the crew are at your discretion after landing.
