🌊 What to Expect

Depart from the Ginjolers dock in central Roses and sail north along the Costa Brava towards Cadaqués. The route follows a rugged stretch of coastline, with pine-covered slopes and exposed rock formations, and continues past Cadaqués and Port Lligat before entering the Cap de Creus Natural Park. Sailing is prioritised whenever conditions allow, creating a steady and comfortable passage.

The catamaran anchors in a sheltered cove such as Cala Bona or Cala Culip, chosen by the skipper based on sea and wind conditions. This stop offers clear water for swimming and snorkelling, with rocky edges that attract marine life. Guests can swim directly from the boat, use the floating mat, or relax on deck in shaded seating or on the bow nets.

While anchored, a barbecue is prepared on board and served with salads, bread, and drinks, followed by fresh fruit. After the stop, the return sail retraces the coastline back to Roses, keeping a relaxed pace throughout. The skipper may adjust the exact route or anchorage to ensure safety and comfort while maintaining the overall structure of the trip.

📍 Location

Boarding and disembarkation usually take place at the Ginjolers dock in the centre of Roses, directly opposite Hotel Ramblamar. This is a central meeting point close to amenities and easy to access.

✅ Prerequisites

No sailing experience is required. This excursion suits guests who want a longer day on the water with coastal exploration, swimming, and food included.

Participants should be comfortable spending several hours on a boat and entering the water via ladder. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, particularly during swimming and snorkelling.

⭐ Why Choose Us

This route covers one of the most dramatic sections of the Costa Brava, including protected waters within the Cap de Creus Natural Park. Passing Cadaqués and Port Lligat by sea adds variety and context before reaching quieter anchorages further along the coast.

The experience is designed around space, steady pacing, and practical comfort. Sailing is prioritised when conditions allow, reusable cups are used on board, and catering is timed to fit naturally around the swim stop rather than fixed schedules.
