Celebrate a truly special occasion with an exclusive hot air balloon flight across the Tuscan countryside. Designed as a private experience, this luxury adventure combines spectacular scenery, personal service and unforgettable moments shared only with your chosen guests.
Your experience begins with collection from your hotel before travelling to the launch site, which is selected following the final weather assessment to provide the safest possible flight. After meeting your private pilot and ground crew, you'll receive a full safety briefing before watching the balloon inflate. If you wish, you can even help prepare the balloon before stepping into the basket.
Once airborne, you'll spend around an hour drifting peacefully across the Tuscan countryside, with your route determined entirely by the wind. Rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, medieval villages and historic castles create an ever-changing landscape, while your experienced pilot shares information about ballooning throughout the journey. Following a gentle landing, you'll celebrate with a glass of sparkling wine before your return transfer takes you back to your hotel.
Flights take place across the beautiful Tuscan countryside, with launch sites chosen according to the weather conditions on the day. Your exact departure location and meeting arrangements are confirmed following the final weather check to ensure the best possible flying conditions.
Every journey follows a different route as the balloon travels naturally with the wind. Depending on the conditions, you'll enjoy wide views across vineyards, valleys, historic villages and the rolling landscapes that have made Tuscany famous around the world.
No previous ballooning experience is necessary, making this private experience suitable for both first-time flyers and those celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Children are normally welcome from 4 years old when accompanied by an adult.
Comfortable outdoor clothing and flat, closed-toe footwear are recommended. Requests for younger children are considered individually based on height, safety requirements and the expected flying conditions.
Operated by an ENAC-certified hot air balloon operator with more than 30 years of commercial experience, every flight is planned with safety, reliability and exceptional customer service at its heart. Experienced commercial pilots and dedicated ground crews ensure every detail is handled professionally from beginning to end.
This exclusive experience is designed for guests looking for complete privacy while enjoying one of Tuscany's most memorable activities. From hotel collection through to your return transfer after landing, every stage is carefully organised to create a seamless and enjoyable day.
Yes. The balloon is reserved exclusively for your booking, allowing you to enjoy the entire flight with only your chosen guests and the pilot on board.
This makes the experience particularly popular for anniversaries, proposals, honeymoons, milestone birthdays and other memorable celebrations where privacy is important.
The flight itself lasts approximately one hour, although you should allow additional time for hotel transfers, the safety briefing, balloon preparation and post-flight celebrations.
The exact schedule depends on the weather conditions and the selected launch location, with flights always taking place during the early morning when conditions are usually at their best.
The exact route is determined by the wind, meaning every balloon flight is unique. Rather than following a fixed path, you'll drift naturally across whichever part of Tuscany offers the safest flying conditions on the day.
During the journey, you can expect sweeping views of rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, valleys, castles and traditional villages spread across the countryside.
Yes. Hotel collection and return transport are included as part of this luxury experience, making your morning as straightforward and comfortable as possible.
Your collection time will be confirmed once the final weather assessment has been completed and the launch site has been selected.
Absolutely. No previous ballooning experience is needed, and most guests are flying for the first time.
Before take-off, your pilot will explain exactly what to expect, answer any questions and guide you through every stage of the experience.
Safety is always the highest priority. Flights are operated by an ENAC-certified hot air balloon operator with more than 30 years of commercial experience.
Every departure is carefully planned around the weather, and flights only proceed when conditions are suitable. If necessary, your experience will be rearranged rather than flown in unsuitable conditions.
Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor conditions together with flat, closed-toe footwear is recommended throughout the experience.
Morning temperatures can be cooler than expected, so dressing in layers is usually the most comfortable option regardless of the season.
Children are normally welcome from 4 years old when accompanied by an adult.
If you'd like to enquire about bringing a younger child, requests can be reviewed individually based on height, safety requirements and the expected flying conditions.
