✈️ What to Expect

Meeting your pilot at Sherburn-in-Elmet is the first step of your experience, where you'll receive a full safety briefing before making your way to the helicopter. Once everyone is comfortably seated, the rotors begin to spin and you'll soon lift away from the airfield for a 45-minute sightseeing flight across West Yorkshire.

Heading towards Leeds, you'll enjoy uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside before reaching the city itself. The route takes you over Temple Newsam House, one of Yorkshire's finest historic mansions, before continuing towards Elland Road Stadium and the impressive Leeds city skyline. From above you'll also pass Leeds Bradford Airport, giving you the chance to watch commercial aircraft from a completely different perspective, before continuing across Eccup Reservoir, the largest body of open water in West Yorkshire.

Before returning to Sherburn-in-Elmet, the flight passes over the magnificent Harewood House Estate, surrounded by its extensive landscaped grounds. Throughout the journey your experienced pilot will point out notable landmarks while sharing the skies exclusively with your group, ensuring you can relax and enjoy every moment together without other passengers on board.
