What to Expect

Ultimate Combo Trips

For those looking for excitement, the ultimate trip offers the best of both worlds. Packrafts are perfect for those who want to be in control of their own craft, tackling rapids and navigating the river independently. Meanwhile, those who prefer a steadier ride can join the larger raft, guided by an instructor who will steer the group through the water. This mix makes for a great experience, keeping the whole group together while allowing each person to choose their level of challenge.

Gentle Combo Trips

If a relaxed paddle is more your style, this option takes you down a beautiful stretch of the River Tay, where you can take in the scenery and spot local wildlife. With no pressure to tackle rough water, it’s a perfect way to enjoy time on the river while still having the choice between a packraft or the group raft. Ideal for those who want to soak up the outdoors without an adrenaline rush.

Location

The River Tay is Scotland’s longest river, offering a mix of calm stretches and whitewater sections. Flowing through beautiful countryside, it’s a great place to experience Scotland’s waterways, whether you’re looking for a relaxed paddle or a more challenging adventure.

With access to different sections of the river, each trip is tailored to suit the group's preferences and abilities.

Prerequisites

No prior experience is needed for either option. The packrafts are stable and easy to handle, making them a great choice for those wanting to try something new. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, as you’ll be paddling your own craft if choosing a packraft.

Anyone opting for the raft will be guided by an instructor, making it a great choice for those who prefer a shared experience.
