Instructions were clear and so well explained. Instructors made the whole experience lots of fun and they were super encouraging
We partner with Rewilding Britain to help protect our natural spaces for future adventures.
All centres are vetted for safety and quality. Your adventure is in good hands with adventuro.

The Lizard route is chosen the day before, from spots such as Mullion Harbour, Church Cove, Bass Point, Enys Head or Predannack. You kit up, hear a brief, then spend about two hours swimming, scrambling and taking optional jumps. The whole booking is around three hours including changing, and photos come with the session.
The day before we send the venue, directions and parking. On the day you get a winter wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid, then a brief before you walk to the water. The route mixes swims, scrambles, caves and optional jumps. You can skip any feature.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Trainers or thick-soled wetsuit boots are required. Shorts over the suit protect it on the rocks. The guide takes photos and shares them afterwards. Rain does not stop the session; a dangerous sea does.
Sessions run on the Lizard Peninsula. The square at The Lizard, TR12 7NJ, is the area pin. The exact cove is chosen the day before from Mullion Harbour, Church Cove, Bass Point, Enys Head or Predannack, depending on wind and swell.
You cannot pick the cove when you book. We send SMS and email with the meeting point, parking and what to bring. All of those sites sit a short drive from the Lizard village.
You need to be a confident swimmer in open water. The minimum age is 10. Under-18s can join without a parent in the water if a consent form is signed in advance.
Bring swimwear, lace-up trainers or wetsuit boots, shorts over the suit, a towel and any medication. Glasses and jewellery stay off. Contact lenses or prescription goggles are fine.
An AALA-licensed team has run Lizard routes for more than 20 years. Guides are lifeguards as well as leaders, and they pick the cove the day before rather than forcing a booked spot in a bad swell.
Jumps stay optional and photos come with the booking. If you want the route to yourselves, or you have children under ten, book the private Lizard session instead.
The exact meeting point is confirmed the day before by SMS and email. It will be one of the Lizard coves around TR12 7NJ, such as Mullion Harbour, Church Cove, Bass Point, Enys Head or Predannack.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Follow the parking notes in that message rather than driving to The Lizard square unless we say so.
We tell you the day before. The pin on the listing is The Lizard square, TR12 7NJ, but the session itself runs from Mullion Harbour, Church Cove, Bass Point, Enys Head or Predannack.
The message includes directions, parking and what to bring. Do not drive to a cove you have guessed; wait for that note.
About three hours including changing and the brief, with around two hours in the water. The pace follows the group and the tide.
Arrive 15 minutes early. If you are running late, send a message rather than arriving mid-brief.
No. Jumps are optional and usually have a low, mid and higher choice. You can swim around anything you do not want to do.
The guide talks through each feature first. The session still works if you stay on the swims and scrambles.
Lace-up trainers or thick-soled wetsuit boots. Flip-flops, sandals and thin beach shoes are not accepted. Without proper shoes we cannot take you, and we cannot refund that.
Old trainers you do not mind getting wet are the simplest option. The rock is sharp and slick.
Ten for this group session. Under-18s can join without a parent in the water if a consent form is signed in advance.
Children from six can book a private Lizard session instead. That listing is slower and stays with your own group.
Yes. You need to be a confident swimmer in open water. A buoyancy aid is on the whole time, but you still swim between features.
If you are unsure, say so when you book. A private slot can stay in calmer water than an open group.
Rain and ordinary wind do not cancel a session. We cancel or move when the swell or wind makes the chosen cove unsafe. Another Lizard spot is the first option.
If we cancel, we rearrange. The day-before message is also the moment we confirm the sea is usable.
No. Glasses and jewellery stay off. Contact lenses or prescription goggles are fine. Leave valuables in the car.
The guide can hold medication in a dry bag if you need it on the route. If you need to see clearly, contact lenses or prescription goggles are the workable options.
Yes. The guide carries a waterproof camera and shares the pictures afterwards. You do not need a phone on the rocks.
We cannot promise a shot of every jump. The priority is the route and the group. Ask the guide at the end how the pictures will be sent, as that can change with the size of the group.
Yes. Solo bookers join other people on the same slot. Kit is issued to each person, and the guide keeps the pace inclusive.
If you want the cove to yourselves, book the private Lizard session instead. If you would rather not share the session, look at the private listing for the same activity instead.

We had a great time. Fred was a great coach. Will definitely come again
Our instructor Harlyn was great! She is obviously really skilled and made sure we knew what to do and my daughter really learned a lot!

Coasterring with Lizard adventure. Great day out. Rory was great with us. Got some sea snacks along the way. Great jumps for all levels. Saw the seals. All in all a great day out
I was impressed that Steve contacted me to ask if my adolescents would like a more adventurous experience and tailored the coasteering to them. They all had a great time - came back exhilarated and exhausted. Thanks also for taking some great photos
Chris and Chloe were great guides and coaches, and provided us a wonderfull experience.
We had the best time! There 5 in our group today and Ru was the best guide. He made sure everyone was safe, comfortable with the level of challenge and knowledgeable about the area, flora, and fauna. The views from the cliffs and water were absolutely stunning! I’m so glad…
We had a fab time with Steve guiding us. A wide range of abilities and Steve enabled us all to meet our challenges and succeed. Highly recommend this as an amazing activity. Thumbs up for Steve. Thank you.
