Flyboarding Experience at Dukes The Palm

Lift out of the water and learn to control your height on a guided flyboarding session at one of Dubai’s prime beach locations. This 30-minute experience focuses on balance, technique, and progression, with full instruction and safety equipment provided.

🚀 Key Details

• Session duration: 30 minutes
• Minimum age: 12 years
• Swimming ability: Required

🌊 What to Expect

The session starts with a land-based briefing where an instructor explains how the flyboard works, how lift is generated, and how body position affects balance and height. You’ll also learn the hand signals used to communicate with the instructor while on the water. A helmet and life vest are fitted before entering the sea.

Once in the water, the flyboard—powered by a connected jet ski—gradually lifts you above the surface. The instructor controls the power and adjusts it based on your confidence and stability. Most participants begin by practising balance just above the water before progressing to higher lifts and short movements forward.

Expect a learning curve with multiple attempts, controlled falls into the water, and steady improvement as you refine your posture and weight shifts. The emphasis is on control rather than height, giving you time to understand how small adjustments affect movement and elevation.

📍 Location

The experience takes place along the coastline near Dukes The Palm, offering open water conditions suitable for flyboarding instruction. The area is known for its clear launch points and easy access to deeper water, allowing sessions to run smoothly.

The meeting point is accessible by road and public transport, and arrival details are confirmed in advance. Participants should arrive early to allow time for briefing and equipment fitting.
