Take in Hudson Valley fall color from a private helicopter departing Westchester. This seasonal scenic flight is built for small groups who want unobstructed aerial views of autumn foliage with the aircraft to themselves.
You'll arrive at our Westchester helicopter base where the crew welcomes you and prepares you for your flight. Your FAA-certified pilot briefs you on safety before boarding, then lifts off over Westchester and climbs toward the Hudson Valley as the autumn canopy unfolds beneath you. From the air you'll see ridgelines, river bends, and patches of gold, orange, and red stretching across the landscape in a way that is impossible to appreciate from the ground.
Throughout the flight your pilot adjusts the route for the best color and conditions on the day, narrating landmarks and scenic highlights when airspace allows. You'll have generous windows for photography as you trace river corridors and forested hills. After a scenic loop over the valley, you return to Westchester for a smooth landing. There is always time to talk with your pilot about what you saw before you head home.
Flights depart from 67 Tower Rd, West Harrison, NY 10604, with easy access from New York City and the wider Hudson Valley. Our Westchester base puts you quickly over the ridges and river valleys where fall color is often at its strongest, without the congestion of travelling into the city first.
On-site parking makes arrival simple, and the airport-area location is well connected to major parkways and interstates. During peak foliage weekends, allow a little extra driving time so you can check in calmly before your departure.
No flying experience is required for passengers on this scenic tour. You'll simply board the aircraft comfortably and follow crew safety instructions from check-in through landing.
All guests should arrive ready for a short walk to the aircraft and be able to sit securely with a seat belt for the duration of the flight. Each passenger must weigh no more than 250 lbs. If you're travelling with young children, give us a call ahead of time and we'll make sure everyone has a seat.
We've flown the Hudson Valley for more than two decades and know which routes show the strongest autumn color as the season progresses. A private helicopter lets your group enjoy the views together from turbine aircraft flown by pilots who live and work in the region.
From check-in to landing, our team focuses on safety, clear communication, and making the flight feel unforgettable. There are few better ways to experience peak foliage than from a private helicopter with uninterrupted views in every direction.

Your pilot flies exclusively for your group, so you can take in the autumn views together without sharing the cabin with strangers.
We fly helicopters that seat two to six passengers. Our Robinson aircraft typically carry up to three guests, while larger turbine helicopters can take more.
We'll help you choose the right aircraft for your group so everyone flies together comfortably.
Each passenger must weigh no more than 250 lbs. We use this to keep the aircraft within safe operating limits for your flight.
Please share each passenger's approximate weight when you book so we can confirm your group fits your chosen helicopter.
You'll be in the air for 30 to 45 minutes on most flights. Longer routes give you more time over Hudson Valley ridges and river corridors during peak color.
Allow extra time on site for check-in, your safety briefing, and boarding. Your visit will be longer than the airborne time alone.

Peak autumn color varies by year, elevation, and weather across the Hudson Valley. Late September through October is typically the strongest foliage window, but timing shifts with temperature and rainfall each season.
Your pilot plans scenic routing to maximize views for the conditions on your flight day. Color can be vibrant along ridgelines and river valleys even when trees in the city are still green.
The scenic route highlights Hudson Valley ridges, river corridors, and autumn color from the air. You'll see forest canopy, farmland, and winding rivers when conditions allow.
Exact routing may vary with aircraft type, FAA airspace, and weather on the day. Your pilot selects the safest and most colorful path for the conditions at departure.
Children are welcome on our scenic flights. If you're bringing younger guests, give us a call ahead of time and we'll make sure everyone has a seat.
All passengers must be able to sit securely with a seat belt and follow crew safety instructions throughout the flight.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Layers work well because temperatures can feel cooler once you are airborne in autumn.
Bring sunglasses for the bright reflections off rivers and open canopy. A camera with a strap is ideal for capturing the color from the cabin.
All flights are conducted at the sole discretion of the pilot in command. Low visibility, strong winds, or changing autumn weather can affect whether a scenic departure can operate safely on your chosen date.
Our crew monitors conditions closely and will communicate with you as early as possible if a departure needs to be adjusted for safety.
No flying experience is required. This is a passenger scenic flight, so you simply enjoy the views while your FAA-certified pilot handles the aircraft.
Your pilot gives a clear safety briefing before departure and is happy to answer questions about the route or the helicopter during your time on the ground.
